MESSENGER E/V/H GRNS 3 NEUTRON SPECTROMETER CDR V2.0
Abstract ======== This data set consists of the MESSENGER Neutron Spectrometer (NS) calibrated data records (CDRs). The NS experiment is a neutron spectrometer designed to observe spectra of neutrons emitted from Mercury's surface in the energy range from 0.01 eV to 7 MeV. There are five NS CDR data products: raw neutron spectra, NS counter data, galactic cosmic ray (GCR) spectra, engineering data, and gamma-ray burst data. This is version 2 of this data set; version 1 has been superceded.
MESSENGER E/V/H GRNS 2 NEUTRON SPECTROMETER RAW DATA V1.0
Abstract ======== This data set consists of the MESSENGER NS uncalibrated observations, also known as EDRs. The NS experiment is a neutron spectrometer designed to observe spectrum of neutrons emitted from Mercury's surface in the energy range from 0.01 eV to 7 MeV. There are nine NS EDR data products. The NS Full Science Spectra EDR has a data file that contains histogram arrays of the five spectra measured, and this EDR replaces the NS Spectra EDR as of February 2006.
LP MOON NEUTRON SPECTROMETER 3 RDR V1.0
Neutron Spectrometer data acquired by Lunar Prospector have been reduced to four maps, which can be interpreted in terms of elemental composition of the lunar regolith: thermal neutrons, epithermal neutrons, moderated neutrons, and fast neutrons. The maps are presented as 720x360 arrays equally-spaced in latitude and longitude.
MESSENGER E/V/H GRNS 4 NEUTRON SPECTROMETER DDR V1.0
Abstract ======== This data set consists of the MESSENGER Neutron Spectrometer (NS) 'derived' data records (DDRs). The NS experiment is a neutron spectrometer designed to observe neutrons emitted from Mercury's surface in the energy range from 0.01 eV to 7 MeV. There is 1 NS DDR standard data product (Neutron Count Rate, NS_DDR_NCR) and 1 NS DDR special data product (Neutron Composition, NS_DDR_NCP). The NCR data products contain net neutron count rates from the LG1, LG2, and BP sensors and uncertainties from each of these sensors. The NCP data product contains fast and epithermal count rates as a function of latitude, along with simulated count rates for the cases of no hydrogen and for a thick layer of 100 wt. percent water ice in all radar bright regions.
