Dataset for the publication: Elucidating the influence of intercalated anions in NiFe LDH on the electrocatalytic behavior of OER: a kinetic study

<p>This contribution comprehends the dataset derived as basis of the publication on alkaline electrochemical oxygen evolution reaction using nickel iron layered double hydroxides (NiFe LDH) with different intercalated anions. In this related study, the dataset was used to analyse the impact of different intercalated anions on the governing reaction mechanism and rate determining step in the electrocatalytic surface mechanism. The dataset comprehends analysis of the three materals: (1) charging current density versus scan rate, (2) X-ray diffraction patterns, (3) polarization curves, (4) steady-state derived Tafel plots, (5) reaction order analysis, (6) impedance spectroscopy, (7) influence of stirring on polarization curves, (8) not iR corrected values for the activity curves, (9) EIS data&nbsp;and (10)&nbsp;Tafel plots obtained through three different methods.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The deriving out of the answers given to questions about the extent to which Academic Libraries have supported and guided them to a. OER adoption/use, b. OER creation and c. OER intellectual property (copyright), it is revealed that the faculty of the research sample does not consider academic libraries much supportive of them in any of these three areas [1]. More precisely, only 22% of the survey&rsquo; s participants believe that academic libraries have guided them on OER intellectual property (copyright), another 26% consider that academic libraries have supported them in the OER creation, and less than one in three (30%) are of the opinion that the academic libraries have contributed to their OER adoption/use (see figure 1).&nbsp;</p>

<p>This document contains the corpus of identified OER as well as OER-like on social science research methods in the German language and the used codes to classify the identified resources. This document is provided for secondary use as well as expansion and revision.</p> <p>The collection and classification of the corresponding OER and OER-like was last updated in August 2021 and has to be discussed accordingly. OER and OER-like that were created later or were offline during data collection are not included.</p> <p>The codings provided are only covering content-based aspects and not feature e.g. like license framework or opportunity to comment and discuss.</p>

Student Creativity in Information Literacy Instruction - OER video for high school educators

<p>This video was produced in an information literacy course at the School of Information Studies (&Eacute;SIS) at the University of Ottawa, Canada, in Spring 2022. It is shared as an open educational resource (OER) using CC-BY license to be re(used) to teach viewers about creativity in the context of information literacy.</p> <p>This video is meant to help educators teach information literacy to their high school students using creativity.</p> <p>The learning objective includes understanding methods to incorporate creativity in the instruction of information literacy through the form of content creation. The main goal is to engage the viewers and incentivize the target audience to implement creativity in their educational methods related to information literacy.</p> <p>This video was created in screencast-o-matic and edited using the same program and Lightworks.</p> <p>The slides used are from a presentation template from SlidesCarnival and illustrations by Sergei Tikhonov.</p> <p>The references used to create this project are displayed at the end of the video.</p>

The Use of Open Educational Resources (OERs) in Teaching and Learning in Higher Education Distance Learning Programmes in Cameroon

<p>A cross sectional descriptive analysis was adopted for this study. The goal was to was find out the use OERs in teaching and learning in higher education distance learning by taking a snapshot from a cross-section of the population. The institution under study is the University of Buea. The research targeted all 25 students at the master level of the Distance Education Program in the Faculty of Education, University of Buea. All the students were purposively sampled due to the small nature of the target population. A carefully designed questionnaire was used for data collection. The questionnaire had both closed and opened-ended questions which required respondents to select from a variety of responses to cover the research questions. Data was calculated and presented using frequencies tables and bar charts. &nbsp;After getting description of student&rsquo;s responses, an analysis was done to show the situation of the use of OERs and in teaching and learning.</p>

The role of iron in the electronic configuration of mixed nickel iron oxides for the OER

<p>The dataset includes the raw data files, python based analysis scripts and the plots and vector graphic files obtained from the analysis scripts. Since multiple plots were obtained from the same set of data files, the scripts are documented to give information which part of the data are used to yield specific plots.
