Jewish Prosopographic Database (Jewish PID)

<p>R&auml;ume bzw. Orte mit ausgepr&auml;gter j&uuml;discher Siedlungskonzentration befanden sich im fr&uuml;hneuzeitlichen Reich oft in Gebieten, die von kleinr&auml;umigen und ungeschlossenen territorialen Verh&auml;ltnissen gepr&auml;gt waren. Das DFG-Projekt Fraktalit&auml;t und die Dynamiken j&uuml;discher Lebensformen im S&uuml;den des Alten Reiches geht von der Annahme aus, dass diese spezifischen Strukturen f&uuml;r die Existenz von Juden verantwortlich waren und fragt danach, wie die j&uuml;dischen Akteure diese zu nutzen wussten. Im Projekt wurde dieses Konzept mit den Methoden der Netzwerkanalyse verbunden, woraus sich M&ouml;glichkeiten ergaben, die Kategorie des Raums sozialgeschichtlich f&uuml;r die j&uuml;dische Geschichte fruchtbar zu machen sowie die territorialpolitische Komplexit&auml;t j&uuml;discher Siedlungsr&auml;ume in ihrer Wirkung und Bedeutung erstmals umfassend zu beschreiben und zu erkl&auml;ren. Derart komplexe politische Strukturen kommen in besonderer Weise Akteuren entgegen, die es gewohnt waren, in multipolaren Netzwerken zu agieren, wie es f&uuml;r weite Teile der j&uuml;dischen Bev&ouml;lkerung der Vormoderne nachgewiesen ist. Im Projekt Religi&ouml;se Differenz und wirtschaftliche Kooperation. Christlich-j&uuml;dische Gesch&auml;ftsbeziehungen wurde nachgewiesen, dass es eine deutlich engere Zusammenarbeit dieser beiden Religionsgruppen im wirtschaftlichen Bereich als bisher angenommen, gegeben hat.<br>Um diese Netzwerke offenzulegen, wurden im Rahmen der an der KU Eichst&auml;tt-Ingolstadt laufenden DFG-Projekte zwei relationale Datenbanken erstellt, die ab jetzt online zur Verf&uuml;gung stehen werden. PID Graph for Moorea Biocode Retrospective

<p>This GIF was created as part of the Moorea Biocode retrospective project. For this project, I created a data management plan using the DMPTool about 10 years after the project ended. I started the DMP using the original application submitted to the UCNRS. From this information, I added title, abstract, people associated with the project and funder. I searched the literature for Moorea Biocode and found publications and datasets, which I linked through related works on the DMP. With these links established, I used the DataCite DMP ID Jupyter Notebook and drew the three graphs - (1) before any works were added (2) after journal articles were added and (3) after datasets were added. This simulates the way that the <a href="https://www.project-freya.eu/en/pid-graph/the-pid-graph">PIDGraph (Persistent Identifier Graph)</a> would evolve over the life of the project.&nbsp;</p>

PID Registration Service Demo Application

<p>The demonstration will cover the four functions: verification, registration, identified user taskId and taskId status.&nbsp;</p> <ul> <li> <p>The API Reference Overview demonstrates four functions of the pid registration service for variables: the verification (validation) of the variables and the metadata to be registered. It returns a validation report.</p> </li> <li> <p>The variable registration prototype (not implemented yet) returns a taskId to follow up on the registration status.&nbsp;</p> </li> <li> <p>The Variable status tasks check the status of the tasks according to the identified user</p> </li> <li> <p>The variable/status/task/{taskId} that returns either the verification status or register process identified by the taskId.</p> </li> </ul> <p>The demonstration also cover the status pages. The first status page organizes the tasks by Username, amount of tasks, and their respective status (Finished, Pending/running or failed).&nbsp;The user task overview demonstrates the JSON file validation. Some tasks can register a bunch of variables, taking longer, so it is important to follow up on the running tasks from the user&#39;s perspective.&nbsp;The status page breakdowns the follow-up for each variable registration requested at a given taskId.</p>
