Fig. 1. Distributional map of Indonesian pectinariids. Dark grey and white areas indicate Indonesian islands and nearby regions. Pectinaria nusalautensis, new species, and (?)P. brevispinis were collected from the same island. The record of A. capensis is doubtful due to such a long distance between South Africa and Sunda Strait that may restrict the distribution of the species. Pectinaria brevispinis was originally described from the Philippines and was later recorded to occur in Indonesia by Caullery (1944), but this record cannot be verified.
