Analysis of interventions of practice abstracts and videos

This dataset containts the underlying data that was used to analyse the SmartCulTour identified interventions that were described under the production of abstracts and practice videos of D6.2. The data collection established:

Context & background

Reason why of the intervention

Resources and tools

Expected economic impact

Expected social impact

Expected cultural impact

Expected environmental impact

Success conditions

These criteria were analysed by the SmartCulTour local experts and meant to feed into the updated taxonomy on cultural tourism interventions of D3.4. The interventions that are described are linked to the practice videos that can be found under the Living Labs section of the SmartCulTour website (www.smartcultour.eu) and pertain to:

Rotterdam Living Lab: Planning for the future of Hoek van Holland & Bospolder-Tussendijken

Scheldeland Living Lab: Hof van Coolhem: social employment and care project in tourism

Scheldeland Living Lab: Bornem Castle: upgrades historical exhibitions & creates visitor centre

Scheldeland Living Lab: Steam train Dendermonde-Puurs: volunteers protecting industrial heritage

Utsjoki Living Lab: Traces in Utsjoki: inspiring respectful visitor behaviour in nature areas

Utsjoki Living Lab: Placemaking as a technique to support meaningful visitor experiences

Huesca Living Lab: The Somontano Wine Route: a resilient strategy for Huesca

Huesca Living Lab: The Río Vero Cultural Park. agroBRIDGES EIP-AGRI Practice Abstracts - Regional insights and business models for SFSC development

The present dataset completed the collection of the 25 regional practice abstracts developed in the framework of the agroBRIDGES project, using the EIP-AGRI common format. The aim is to share project outputs so other actors of the agri-food sector can leverage on them and to see the main added value and benefits met by the end-users if the generated knowledge is implemented. The Practice Abstracts are also published on the EIP-AGRI website and available at this link.

The current (second) version of the dataset builds upon the previous set of Practice Abstracts generated in each of the 12 European focal countries of the project to share the project's knowledge and insights gained from co-creation, data collection, communication, toolbox validation and event organisation activities.

These activities aim at promoting the development of Short Food Supply Chains, while motivating the local network of agri-food actors in the process (multi-actor approach). At least one Practice Abstract has been generated per Beacon Region (i.e. focal region of the agroBRIDGES project). The Practice Abstracts aim to support proactitioners in replicating our approaches and methodologies.

2 Practice Abstracts have been elaborated per country (23 in total):

Ireland

Denmark

Italy (Lazio & Piemonte regions)

Greece (Central Macedonia region)

Spain (Andalusia region)

France (Pays de Loire, Auvergne and Bretagne regions)

Poland

Latvia

Lithuania

Turkey

Finland

Netherlands

Additionally, 1 Practice Abstract was developed to present 5 business model categories of SFSC analysed in the context of agroBRIDGES.

agroBRIDGES EIP-AGRI Practice Abstracts: A practical toolbox for SFSCs

The present dataset is a collection of the practice abstracts developed in the framework of the agroBRIDGES project, using the EIP-AGRI common format. The aim is to share project outputs so other actors of the agri-food sector can leverage on them and to see the main added value and benefits met by the end-users if the generated knowledge is implemented. agroBRIDGES Practice Abstracts are also published on the EIP-AGRI website and available at this link.

The current (first) version of the present dataset contains 13 Practice Abstracts generated to to present the agroBRIDGES toolbox that encompasses a set of 12 practical tools for producers, farmers to develop and grow their business based on Short Food Supply Chains as well as other agri-food actors (retailers, wholesalers, distributors, public food procurers) to facilitate collaborations and awareness.

The agroBRIDGES Toolbox contains 4 types of tools fully translated in 12 local languages:

Communication material

Know your local food

Label me

#WeNeedLocalFood

Why am I special?

Yes, you can!

Digital spaces / tools:

Decision Support Tool

Hear my voice

Net

Smart Delivery

Training material:

Support for food procurement

Event organisation material:

Let's meet!

Let' build our SFSC

A Practice Abstract has been developed for the agroBRIDGES Toolbox and each of the 12 provided tools, using the standard EIP-AGRI Practice Abstract template. All Practice Abstracts are also supported in video format, also available in the agroBRIDGES Youtube channel.
