CODEX Rb and Sr isotopic data of granites
<p>The files in this archive represent Rb and Sr isotopic compositions of hundreds of spot analyses on the Boulder Creek Granite and the Pikes Peak Granite. Data were acquired at the Southwest Research Institute in Boulder, Colorado, USA in July-August 2019, using the breadboard version of CODEX, the Chemistry, Organics, and Dating Experiment.</p> <p>The files are in plain text format. Following a one-row header that gives column headings, subsequent rows contain:<br> (1) A unique identifier for each spot analysis;<br> (2-4) 3 columns representing the position of the analysis spot (in mm) relative to a fiducial spot on the sample holder (this permits the construction of an isotopic map of the sample);<br> (5-7) the isotopic abundances for Rb87, Sr86, and Sr87 in units of V*ns, i.e., the product of peak height and duration;<br> (8-10) the 1-sigma uncertainties in each of those isotope abundances, in the same units;<br> (11-13) the correlation coefficients (dimensionless) between fluctuations in the isotope pairs (Rb-87,Sr-86), (Sr-86,Sr-87), (Rb-87,Sr-87). These are important because the uncertainties in the isotope abundances are strongly correlated with one another, making the uncertainties in their ratios smaller than the uncertainty in individual abundances might suggest; <br> (14-15) the ratio of Rb87/Sr86 and its 1-sigma uncertainty; <br> (16-17) the ratio of Sr87/Sr86 and its 1-sigma uncertainty; and<br> (18) the correlation coefficient between the Rb87/Sr86 ratio and the Sr87/Sr86 ratio.</p>

EBEWOX - ORCA PBE/def2-SVP +diffuse Rb (RI) SP + QTAIM CPs
<p>ORCA [Neese, 2012] v3.0.3 input (.txt) and output (.out) for an UPBE [Perdew et al., 1996] computation with RI approximation and Kollmar's DIIS SCF convergence method [1996] on the EBEWOX (Cryptand(2.2.2))-rubidium electride [Cambridge Structural Database; original citation Xie et al., 2000]. Geometry (.xyz), ORCA-native wavefunction (.gbw), and ORCA's Molden wavefunction conversion (.molden) are also included.</p> <p>Primary basis set for Rb was the all-electron non-relativistic SVPall [Ahlrichs and May, 2000], with an auxiliary basis automatically generated by ORCA. The Rb basis was augmented with single additional s and p diffuse functions per the 'minimal augmentation' approach of Zheng et al. (2011). Primary and auxiliary bases for all other atoms were def2-SVP [Schäfer et al., 1992; Eichkorn et al., 1997]. (Note: the citation for SVPall is incorrect in the .txt file.)</p> <p>The image (.png) shows the system geometry with critical points and (3,-3)--(3,-1) line paths from MultiWFN v3.3.7 [Lu and Chen, 2012]. The (3,+1) and (3,+3) critical points marked with red arrows in the dataset without the Rb diffuse functions [doi:10.5281/zenodo.20639] are absent from these results.</p>

DATA_Diffusion-free scaling in rotating spherical RB convection
<p>Simulation details. All simulations are run at $Pr=1$ and $\eta=0.6$. The columns from left to right indicate: case number, Rayleigh number $Ra$, Rossby number $Ro$, the number of grid points in the longitudinal, radial, and co-latitudinal direction $N_\theta \times N_r \times N_\varphi$. A rotational symmetry order $n_s$ is applied to reduce computational costs, indicating the longitude of the computational domain as $2\pi/n_s$. The average heat transfer $Nu$ across the inner and the outer sphere, and the regional heat transfer across the outer sphere $Nu_{I,II,III}$ (see figure 3(b) of the manuscript). Note that region $\mathrm{II}$ and $\mathrm{III}$ are only defined when a maximum prograde velocity is identified.</p>
Influence of Alkali Metal Cations in the Formation of the Heterobimetallic Actinide tert-Butoxides [AnM3(OtBu)7] and [AnM2(OtBu)6] (AnIV = Th, U; MI = Li, Na, K, Rb, Cs)
<p>These are the raw data for the modulated structure pertaining to compound <strong>URb</strong>. The following is the abstract of the corresponding paper.</p> <p>Heterobimetallic <em>tert</em>-butoxides of alkali metal cations and tetravalent actinide centers exhibit two distinctive structural motifs, [AnM2(O<em>t</em>Bu)6] and [AnM3(O<em>t</em>Bu)7] (AnIV = Th, U and MI = Li, Na, K, Rb, Cs), evidently govern by the size of the alkali metal ions. Both [AnM3(O<em>t</em>Bu)7] <strong>AnM3 </strong>(AnIV = U, MI = Li; AnIV = Th, MI = Li, Na) and<strong> </strong>[AnM2(O<em>t</em>Bu)6] <strong>AnM2</strong> (AnIV = U, MI = Na – Cs; AnIV = Th, MI = K - Cs) compounds are obtained in nearly quantitative yields by reacting the actinide and alkali metal silyl amides with excess of <em>tert</em>-butyl alcohol. The <strong>AnM3</strong> complexes form a cubane-type coordination motif, whereas the <strong>AnM2</strong> complexes display a geometry resembling two face-shared bipyramids. The sodium derivatives of thorium and uranium (<strong>ThNa3</strong> and <strong>UNa2</strong>) allow to determine the structural transition threshold as function of the ratio of the ionic radii, ri(AnIV)/ri(MI). The <strong>AnM3</strong> complexes are formed for ratios above 0.92 and the <strong>AnM2</strong> type is formed for ratios below 0.87. All compounds are unambiguously characterized in both solution and the solid-state via NMR and IR spectroscopic studies and single crystal X-ray diffraction analyses, respectively.</p>
