Rose Window of Chiaravalle Di Fiastra, Italy
It was 3d designed with Tinkercad codeblocks and 3d printed, by the students of 3rd Junior High School of Kifissia, Athens, Greece Chiaravalle Abbey, Fiastra, is a Cistercian abbey situated between Tolentino and Urbisaglia, in the Marche. It is one of the best preserved Cistercian abbeys in Italy. In 1142 Guarnerio II, Duke of Spoleto and Marquis of the March of Ancona, gave the Cistercians a large area of land which stretched from the river Chienti to the river Fiastra. The monks, who work on the construction of the monastery, used material from the ruins of the nearby Roman town of Urbs Salvia. This church is dedicated to Santa Maria di Chiaravalle di Fiastra. Its architecture is in Romanesque-Burgundian style, and characterized by simplicity and austerity. The plain façade is adorned only with a rose window and a complex portal. It is an example of rigorous Romanesque-Cistercian architecture, considered a masterpiece of that style in central Italy second only to the nearby Fossanova Abbey. ... The monastery was dissolved in 1807 but was re-settled in 1864 and is still extant. According to a medieval legend, when the Templar Grand Master Jacques de Molay was burnt at the stake in 1314, the church's architraves broke. Rose Window Valencia Cathedral, Spain Gothic style (14th century) The rose window illuminates one of the transepts of the church and still keeps remains of the old stained glass. It was called "the salomo" because of its elaborate structure and for holding the "Star of King David". Thus, Jesus was acclaimed as the Messiah and "David's Son", born in the "Mystic rose" Mary. We know nothing about the master builder of this entrance, former door of the mosque, since the artists worked only for God's glory. Rose Window of San Sabino Bari Cathedral, Italy

Bari Cathedral, or Cathedral of Saint Sabinus, is the cathedral of Bari, in Apulia, southern Italy. The cathedral is the seat of the Archbishop of Bari-Bitonto, as it was previously of the archbishops, earlier bishops, of Bari. It is dedicated to Saint Sabinus, a bishop of Canosa. The present building was constructed between the late 12th and late 13th centuries, mostly in the last thirty years of the 12th century, and was built on the site of the ruins of the Imperial Byzantine cathedral destroyed in 1156 by William I of Sicily known as the Wicked. Stylistically, this is an important example of Apulian Romanesque. Data from: The Electric Honeycomb; an investigation of the Rose window instability
The Rose-window instability is a little-explored electrohydrodynamic instability that manifests when a layer of low-conducting oil is placed in an electric field generated by corona discharge in a point-toplane configuration. Above a critical voltage, the instability starts as a single dimple in the oil layer right below the point electrode and subsequently evolves into a characteristic pattern of polygonal cells. In this study we experimentally explore governing parameters that guide the instability and document geometric attributes of the characteristic cellular pattern. The driving force for the instability has been attributed to the buildup of charged ions which in-turn apply an electric pressure on the oil surface. We confirm the charged surface distribution using thermal imaging and demonstrate that the instability can be locally inhibited by preventing charge buildup under an ion shadow.

Rose Window of St Augustine Parish, Andover, USA
It was 3d designed with Tinkercad codeblocks and 3d printed, by the students of 3rd Junior High School of Kifissia, Athens, Greece. Traditional Rose windows are divided geometrically into 8, 12, 24, or 36 parts. The St. Joseph's window is based on the number eight, which signifies rebirth and baptism. The pattern of the tracery, the wooden frame supporting the sections of the stained glass, is based on the red flame design found within the green circles used repeatedly in the windows on both sides of the church. By taking this basic theme and interlocking the design twice, the rose window is divided into its eight parts. The central focus of the window is the symbol of St. Augustine. His special attribute is the flaming heart signifying his religious fervor and love of God. Cuenca Cathedral is a Gothic cathedral in the city of Cuenca, located in the Province of Cuenca in the Castile-La Mancha region of south-eastern central Spain. The building is one of the earliest Spanish examples of Gothic architecture, built at a time when the Romanesque style predominated in the Iberian Peninsula. In particular, the cathedral is characteristic of the Norman and Anglo-Norman architecture of the 12th century, of which Soissons Cathedral, Laon Cathedral and Notre-Dame de Paris are representative examples. Work began in 1196 and was largely completed by 1257, although further renovations continued.
