<p>This is a basic reproduction package for the paper"Spectral and Imaging properties of Sgr A∗ from High-Resolution 3D GRMHD Simulations with Radiative Cooling" by Yoon et al. (2020). It aims to provide the most important data products to check and reproduce the main results of the paper.</p>
SMA/VLA data toward five CMZ clouds and Sgr D
<p>SMA/VLA data toward five CMZ clouds (20 km/s, 50 km/s, G0.253+0.016, Sgr B1-off, Sgr C) and Sgr D. Details of these images can be found in the published paper Lu et al. 2019, Astrophysical Journal, vol. 872, article id. 171 (https://ui.adsabs.harvard.edu/abs/2019ApJ...872..171L/abstract).</p> <p>The files are named as follows:</p> <p>[Target]_[Telescope]_[Lines(or continnuum)]_[Imagecontent].fits</p> <p>The target is one of 20kms, 50kms, G0253, SgrB1off, SgrC, and SgrD.</p> <p>The telescope is either SMA (for the Submillimeter Array) or the VLA (for the Karl G. Jansky Very Large Array).</p> <p>The lines/continuum is continuum, H2Omaser (for VLA data), or CH3OH/SiO (for SMA data).</p> <p>The image content is either IM (images without primary beam correction) or PB (primary beams).</p> <p>To apply the primary beam correction and get the flux-corrected images, divide IM by PB pixel-by-pixel (for related CASA tasks, see https://casa.nrao.edu/docs/taskref/impbcor-task.html)</p> <p>For example, 20kms_SMA_CH3OH_IM.fits</p> <p>-- the target is the 20 km/s cloud;</p> <p>-- the telescope is the Submillimeter Array;</p> <p>-- the observed line is the CH3OH 4(2,2)-3(1,2) transition;</p> <p>-- the file is the image without primary beam correction.</p>

Orbit positions for the DS sources in the IRS 13 cluster close to Sgr A*
<p>This data is related to the manuscript entiteld "The Evaporating Massive Embedded Stellar Cluster IRS 13 Close to Sgr A*. II. Kinematic structure", published in the ApJ in 2024.</p> <p>We use the Keplerian elements and the data published in "The Evaporating Massive Embedded Stellar Cluster IRS 13 Close to Sgr A*. I. Detection of a Rich Population of Dusty Objects in the IRS 13 Cluster" and "The Evaporating Massive Embedded Stellar Cluster IRS 13 Close to Sgr A*. II. Kinematic structure" to create the orbital solutions published in this data set.</p> <h2>Organization of the data:</h2> <h3>Text files</h3> <p>All .txt files are the output of the fitted Keplerian approximation of the related source. The first column indicates the date, the second and third one the RA and DEC position in arcseconds, respectively. Please note that these positions are projected on the sky with respect to Sgr A<em>. </em>Since all sources are located<em> "to the right" </em>and <em>"below"</em> Sgr A, the related positions contain a minus. </p> <h3>Image files</h3> <p>The related .png files show the plotted .txt files together with the data points published in the manuscript entitled "The Evaporating Massive Embedded Stellar Cluster IRS 13 Close to Sgr A*. I. Detection of a Rich Population of Dusty Objects in the IRS 13 Cluster".</p> <h3>Statistics and Uncertainties</h3> <p>In addition, we publish the outcome of the Markow-Chain-Monte-Carlo (MCMC) simulations as .pdf files. These files indicate the uncertainty range and statistical robustness of the analysis presented in the manuscript entitled "The Evaporating Massive Embedded Stellar Cluster IRS 13 Close to Sgr A*. II. Kinematic structure". Due to the file number restrictions, we uploaded a .rar file that contains all pdf files.</p> <p> </p> <p> </p> <p> </p> <p> </p>
Chandra Sgr A* light curves from 2012 to 2018
<p>300s binned 2-8 keV Chandra light curves of Sgr A*. The event lists needed to produce these plots are obtained by reducing the raw data using standard CIAO tools. The extraction region is a small radius 1.25" circular region centered around the radio position of the Sgr A*. For gratings observations (from the X-ray Visionary Program (XVP)), we use 0th and +/- 1st order counts, with grating order tolerance of +/- 0.2. The first order counts are extracted from a rectangular box with a 5 pixel (2.5") width also centered on the source.</p> <p>The red horizontal lines are Bayesian Blocks calibrated on signal-free Poisson light curves with a false alarm probability, p<sub>0</sub>, of 5%. Their error bars are Poisson errors. Identified flares are isolated by blue vertical lines.</p>

Sgr A* Region Compact Radio Source Catalog
Recent broad-band 34- and 44-GHz radio continuum observations of the Galactic center have revealed 41 massive stars identified with near-IR (NIR) counterparts, as well as 44 proplyd candidates within 30 arcseconds of Sgr A*. Radio observations obtained in 2011 and 2014 have been used to derive proper motions of eight young stars near Sgr A*. The accuracy of proper motion estimates based on NIR observations by Lu et al. (2009, ApJ, 690, 1463) and Paumard et al. (2006, ApJ, 643, 1011) have been investigated by using their proper motions to predict the 2014 epoch positions of NIR stars and comparing the predicted positions with those of radio counterparts in the 2014 radio observations. Predicted positions from Lu et al. show an rms scatter of 6 milliarcseconds (mas) relative to the radio positions, while those from Paumard et al. show rms residuals of 20 mas. In the reference paper, the authors also determine the mass-loss rates of 11 radio stars, finding rates that are on average ~2 times smaller than those determined from model atmosphere calculations and NIR data. Clumpiness of ionized winds would reduce the mass loss rate of WR and O stars by additional factors of 3 and 10, respectively. One important implication of this is a reduction in the expected mass accretion rate onto Sgr A* from stellar winds by nearly an order of magnitude to a value of a few x 10<sup>-7</sup> solar masses per year. The authors carried out A-array observations of the Galactic center region (VLA program 14A-232) in the Ka (9 mm, 34.5 GHz) band on 2014 March 9 in which they detected 318 compact radio sources within 30" of Sgr A*. The authors searched for NIR counterparts to these compact radio sources using high-angular resolution AOs-assisted imaging observations acquired with the VLT/NACO. A K<sub>s</sub>-band (central wavelength 2.18 micron) image was obtained in a rectangular dither pattern on 2012 September 12. L'-band (3.8 micron) observations were obtained during various observing runs between 2012 June and September. The authors found that 45 of the compact radio sources had stellar counterparts in the K<sub>s</sub> and L' bands. This table contains the details of the 318 compact radio sources detected at 34.5 GHz and their NIR counterparts.
