SLNET: A Redistributable Corpus of 3rd-party Simulink Models
<p>MSR 2022 Data and Tool Showcase Track (https://conf.researchr.org/track/msr-2022/msr-2022-data-showcase)</p> <p>SLNET is collection of third party Simulink models. It is curated via mining open source repository (GitHub and Matlab Central) using SLNET-Miner (https://github.com/50417/SLNet_Miner)</p> <p>Paper: https://ranger.uta.edu/~csallner/papers/Shrestha22SLNET.pdf</p> <p>The metrics are collected using https://github.com/50417/SLNET_Metrics</p> <p>v2.0: Added database schema </p> <p>Note: SRC_block_type tables houses "block type" and its count per model. For many blocktypes such as MATLAB Function (which are actually built using a Subsystem), Simulink's get_param API returns block type as "Subsystem" instead of MATLAB Function. Thus, "Subsystem" block type include counts both from user created ones and library blocks (which are implemented using Subsystem). Thus To get a precise number for user created Subsystem, refer to "Agg_subsystem_count" in SRC_metric table. </p>
A Corpus of Publicly Available Simulink Models for Model-based Empirical Studies
<p>Abstract: Recent years have seen many empirical studies of model-based cyber-physical systems and commercial CPS development tool chains such as Matlab/Simulink. To benefit such research, this paper presents the by-far largest corpus of freely available Simulink models to date, containing over 1,000 models.</p> <p>Surprising findings based on this corpus include that (a) tool support for metric collection is not adequate and (b) users do not reuse model components as they would in object-oriented programs.</p> <p>The paper both confirms and contradicts earlier findings that are based on significantly fewer models, suggesting the utility of the corpus for future research. Initial Evaluation Data for SimIMA: A Virtual Simulink Intelligent Modeling Assistant
<p>The following is our initial dataset and evaluation materials corresponding to our development and evaluation of the <a href="https://zenodo.org/record/5123570">Simulink Intelligent Modeling Assistant (SimIMA)</a>. </p> <p>We evaluate SimGestion and SimXample separately. </p> <ul> <li>The directory SimGestion-evaluation contains datasets, evaluation scripts, and log files involved in the evaluation of SimGestion. </li> <li>The directory SimXample-evaluation contains datasets, evaluation scripts, and log files involved in the evaluation of SimXample. </li> </ul> <p>This is v1.0, which is the evaluation associated with the thesis "INTELLIGENT SIMULINK MODELING ASSISTANCE VIA MODEL CLONES AND MACHINE LEARNING" by Bhisma Adhikari @ Miami University , 2021. </p>
EvoSL: A Large Open-Source Corpus of Changes in Simulink Models & Projects
<p>EvoSL is a corpus of 924 Simulink repositories useful to perform model evolutionary studies. <a href="https://zenodo.org/api/files/cbb76da1-1077-4020-8d7c-1c6f4f7b3d36/dataset_er_derived_full_schema.pdf?versionId=a9270932-acca-40d8-b5aa-88330525ade8">dataset_er_derived_full_schema</a> shows the full schema design of the EvoSL_v1 SQLite database. Refer to the paper for full details of the dataset.</p> <p>EvoSL.sqlite (Table: Model_element_changes) contains over 2+ million element-level change raw data extracted from 14k+ Simulink model snapshots.
