Twelve Novels by Arthur Conan Doyle (TXM corpus)

<p>This is a sample dataset of twelve novels written by Arthur Conan Doyle (all in the public domain). The novels have been prepared for use with the TXM text analysis software, including lemmatisation and part-of-speech tagging using TreeTagger. The collection contains twelve novels belonging to different subgenres: detective fiction (Sherlock Holmes novels), adventure novels, historical novels, horror novels and other novels. See the metadata file (metadata.csv) for details. The corpus file (doyle.txm) is a binary format that can be directly loaded into TXM (see http://textometrie.ens-lyon.fr/).</p>

Sourdine. French seventeenth-century verse tragedies for TXM

<p>This dataset contains 49 French seventeenth-century tragedies in verse first performed between 1660 and 1695: All 11 tragedies by Racine as well as 38 contemporary tragedies by Thomas Corneille, Pierre Corneille, Boyer, Quinault, Pradon and Campistron. All plays have been received morphological annotation using Freeling and semantic annotation using WordNet. The dataset is available in a binary format for direct import into the TXM text analysis tool (sourdinewn.txm), as well as in the original, annotated XML format (sourdinewn.zip). A metadata table is also available (sourdinewn_metadata.csv). The texts were originally obtained from the &quot;Th&eacute;&acirc;tre classique&quot; platform edited by Paul Fi&egrave;vre.</p>

<p>This upload contains a linguistically-annotated corpus of all 93 novels and short stories (&#39;nouvelles&#39;) usually considered to form Honor&eacute; de Balzac&#39;s cycle of novels *Com&eacute;die humaine*, for loading into the TXM corpus analysis tool. All texts are derived from EFELE&#39;s digital edition based on the Furne edition.</p>
