The black spots in the alive specimen – the pigment granules. Diagnostic characteristics of the parasite - the muscular post-oral ring (1), genital pore (2), cirrus sack (3), ovary dorsally behind left testes (4) and opposite testes (5), as well as vitelline follicles reaching up to the pharynx. Follicles extend over the whole body and are partially omitted in the drawing for the sake of clarity.
