FIGURE 1. The maximum likelihood tree based on a combined dataset of partial SSU, ITS and LSU sequence analyses in Verruconis and its allied genera. Scolecobasidium excentricum (CBS469.95) was used as the outgroup. Maximum likelihood support bootstrap values ≥75%, or Bayesian posterior probabilities ≥0.90 are shown as ML/BI above the nodes. The new isolates are in blue, and type strains are marked with "T".
