Louis XIV à Versailles
Statue équestre en bronze de Louis XIV située sur le Place d'Armes du Château de Versailles. Réalisée à partir d'un petite nombre de photos (53) prises à hauteur d'homme au bas de la statue (Merci à Vu Hoang Hiep pour la fourniture des photos et les conseils). Reconstitution (pas parfaite !) des trous avec Meshmixer et Netfabb. La statue, installée en 1836 par l'architecte Frédéric Nepveu, est constituée de deux sculptures. Le cheval, sculpté par Pierre Cartellier et fondu en 1829, fait partie d'une commande, restée inachevée, initiée en 1816 par Louis XVIII pour le rétablissement de la statue équestre de Louis XV. Le cavalier est réalisé par son gendre Louis-Messidor Petitot en 1836. Les deux sculptures ont été coulées Charles Crozatier. La statue mesure environ 5,5 m. de haut pour une longueur totale de 4,5 m (selon communiqué de presse du 27/04/2009 du Château de Versailles et de la Française des Jeux après restauration et retour de la statue à Versailles. Bureau du traité de Versailles
Ce bureau plat plaqué d'amarante, offre un très riche décor de bronze doré qui consiste dans les angles en quatre bustes de femmes, les « espagnolettes ». La tête est coiffée d'un petit chapeau orné d'une aigrette à grandes plumes. Les deux petits côtés du meuble sont enrichis de masques de Bacchus. Le bureau, attribué à Charles Cressent le plus important ébéniste parisien du premier quart du XVIIIe s. avec André-Charles Boulle (1642-1732), illustre le style Régence, transition entre le style Louis XIV classique et le rocaille Louis XV. Ce bureau a probablement figuré dans l'appartement intérieur de Louis XV à Versailles en 1744. Sur ce bureau fut signé le 28 juin 1919 au centre de la Galerie des Glaces le traité de paix mettant fin à la Première guerre mondiale.
