<p>Experimental data comprises raw data from load curve characterisation of a PEM fuel cell used for the validation of the mathematical model. Model data comprise of space-dependent values of hydrogen and oxygen concentration, local current densities, gas pressures and gas velocities in the modelled cell. These data were used for the investigation of the effect of different geometric parameters of flow-field channels on the performance of a PEM fuel cell.</p>
Dataset of The distinct influence of different maternal mental health symptom profiles on infant sleep during the first year postpartum: a cross-sectional survey
<p>The distinct influence of different, but comorbid, maternal mental health difficulties, such as postpartum depression, anxiety, or childbirth-related posttraumatic stress disorder (CB-PTSD) on infant sleep is unknown, although maternal mental health was reported to be associated with infant sleep. This paper first aimed to associations between maternal mental health symptoms and infant sleep. Second, it aimed to exploratory obtain maternal mental health symptom profiles from maternal mental health symptoms. Finally, it aimed to investigate the distinct influence of these maternal mental health symptom profiles on infant sleep, when including mediators (i.e., maternal perception of infant temperament and method to fall asleep) and moderators (maternal educational level and infant age).</p> <p>This dataset contains data on the mental health (i.e., CB-PTSD, depression, anxiety) of 410 mothers with an infant aged between 3 to 12 months old. Information on infant sleep and temperament (negative emotionality) was collected via standardised maternal-report questionnaires (City BiTS, EPDS, HADS, BISQ, and IBQ-R very short form). Stream cross-section profiles in the Andrews Experimental Forest and Hagan Block RNA 1978 to 2011
This database consists of periodically resurveyed cross-section profiles for 5 sites (stream reaches) located in the H.J. Andrews Experimental Forest on 3rd to 5th-order stream channels over the period 1978-present, and also includes historical data from Shorter Creek within the Andrews and two sites (North and South) on the Hagan Creek in the Hagan Block RNA. Each of these sites includes 10-20 cross sections spaced about 10-50 m apart. Observations include cross-sectional geometry based on surveys relative to a horizontal line between permanent stations on opposite sides of the stream, substrate type based on pebble counts and notes on extent of bedrock, and photo-documentation of the sites. Sampling was primarily done annually until 2000 and opportunistically since then depending on funding and noted geomorphic changes in response to floods. Sampling at least every 5 years is desired. Data tables cover 1. elevation and distance measurements between fixed end points, 2. pebble counts for particle size, 3. measures of extent of exposed bedrock, 4. vegetation (1984 only) in terms of % cover by spp., % cover of substrate types, and plant measurements for making biomass estimates with allometric equations, but such estimates are not presented. The original raw cross-section data for these sites has been adjusted to align profiles for consecutive year comparisons at each cross-section location to correct for imprecision in the survey methodology. John Faustini, in 1998, further corrected this cross-section data from 1978-1998 for the five main sites in database GS019. Arianna Goodman, in 2021, performed additional corrections on the data, including more recent collections, 1978-2011, also in database GS019. Variation in Landsat 8-estimated land surface temperature with elevation from Spartina alterniflora marsh cross sections in the Georgia Coastal Ecosystems Long Term Ecological Research (GCE-LTER) site and Virginia Coast Reserve (VCR) LTER sites for winter and summer observations spanning 2013-2018
We estimated land surface temperature from top of atmosphere brightness temperature provided by Landsat 8's band 10 (a thermal band). We collected these measurements first for Spartina alterniflora dominated marsh near the Georgia Coastal Ecosystems Long Term Ecological Research (GCE-LTER) eddy covariance flux tower. Measurements were collected from pixels along three east-west cross sections that spanned a marsh edge to interior gradient. We extracted Landsat 8 data for all available cloud-free low tide dates during August, September, January and February during the years 2013 to 2018 and associated these with marsh elevation information from a 1 m^2 Digital Elevation Model (DEM), created by Haldik et al 2013, also available from the GCE data catalog (http://dx.doi.org/10.6073/pasta/4c5187ef603f70cd0a77ece24ef0fed9). We rescaled the DEM to the coarser spatial resolution of Landsat 8 (30 x 30 m) where the rescaled elevation was the mean of the constituent DEM values. Ultimately, we used generalized additive models to relate land surface temperature to elevation, while accounting for variation from spatial proximity, transect and sample date. These models revealed that land surface temperature was negatively related to marsh elevation on the marsh platform. We then confirmed the generality of this pattern by rederiving these same relationships for three cross sections of Spartina alterniflora marsh at Virginia Coast Reserve (VCR) LTER for winter sampling dates only (data also included here).
