Supplemental catalogs for "The Sloan Digital Sky Survey Reverberation Mapping Project: Sample Characterization"

We have compiled additional properties for the SDSS-RM sample in several ancillary catalogs. Below are the notes on these supplemental catalogs. There are .readme files for each additional catalog. We also include the quality assurance plots for the global spectral fits.

QA-0000-56837.ps.gz The full set of 849 quality assessment plots for the global spectral fitting. Each plot includes a top panel showing the continuum (brown) and Fe II (blue) model components; the red line is the sum of the two. The cyan diamonds are pixels masked as absorption or bad pixels. The gray brackets near the top of the panel indicate the windows used for the continuum+Fe II fit. The bottom panels present the emission line fits for five line complexes.

allqso_sdssrm.fits A FITS table of all 1214 known quasars in the 7 square degree SDSS-RM field. Only 849 of them received a fiber in the SDSS-RM spectroscopy. This table lists the basic target information of these quasars.

QSObased_Expanded_SDSSRM_107.fits The narrow MgII/FeII absorber catalog for SDSS-RM quasars, following the methodology outlined in Zhu & Ménard (2013). Each entry corresponds to one quasar. The search for narrow absorbers includes systems that have absorber redshift close to the quasar systemic redshift (|dz|<0.04). MgII absorbers blueshifted from the quasar by dz>0.04 and also redward of CIV by dz>0.02 are of high purity. MgII absorbers with |dz|<0.04 or those at wavelength blueward of CIV, or those with FeII detection but no MgII detections (likely due to bad pixels), while included in this catalog, should be treated with caution, and may contain a small fraction of false positives (mainly CIV absorbers).

For convenience, we also provide a version of the absorber catalog organized by absorbers (Expanded_SDSSRM_107.fits), i.e., each entry corresponds to one absorber system.

rmqso32_aegis_multi_lambda.fits Multi-wavelength data compiled from Nandra et al. (2015) or 32 SDSS-RM quasars in the AEGIS field.

spitzer_seip_rm_match_1.5arcsec.fits Spitzer IRAC and MIPS data from the Spitzer Enhanced Imaging Products (SEIP) source list for 176 SDSS-RM quasars, with a matching radius of 1.5 arcseconds. This file also compiles infrared fluxes (if available) from 2MASS (Skrutskie et al. 2006).

spec_2014_BALrobust.csv List of 95 BALQSOs (including mini-BALQSOs) identified from the first-year coadded spectroscopy. This file includes BAL flags on CIV, AlIII, MgII, and FeII/FeIII. It also includes notes on individual objects.

PS1_MD07_LC_sdssrm.fits PS1 Medium Deep light curves for the SDSS-RM quasars used to compute PS1_NMAG_OK and PS1_RMS_MAG in the main catalog. Note this is the unofficial release of the PS1 MD07 data, which was approved by the PS1 collaboration. These photometric light curves may differ slightly from the final official release of the PS1 Medium Deep field data.

Surface Survey and Legacy Data in the Upper Plain of the Heraion of Perachora: The Perachora Peninsula Archaeological Project 2020 [Digital Supplement with updated polygons from 2020]

The digital Supplement contains figures in original size (TIFF) & digital data (SHP, CSV). The data can be also found in the linked GitHub repository https://github.com/sdam-au/perachora-medit-arch/.

Abstract

The Perachora Peninsula Archaeological Project held its first season of intensive surface survey from 12 January to 2 February 2020, during which time we focused on the region called the Upper Plain, situated above the sanctuary of Hera, which was in use from the 8th to the 2nd century BC. The nature of this area has been disputed, with Humfry Payne seeing it as a substantial town, while Richard Tomlinson referred to it as “a sporadic scatter of structures.” In order to clarify the nature of the settlement we employed a two-pronged effort: first to verify and document the legacy data in Tomlinson’s plan of the area, and second to conduct intensive surface survey from the boundary of the sanctuary to Lake Vouliagmeni. Within three weeks, our teams measured, photographed, and took the coordinates of nearly all the structures on Tomlinson’s plan, which included domestic structures, a small temple, and an extensive waterworks system, and several that had not been previously recorded. Building A 1 and the Fountain House were cleared and recorded using photogrammetry. The survey’s finds informed our legacy data verification efforts. Densities across all land types were high: nearly 23,000 artefacts were counted, and all but nine survey units produced artefacts. A preliminary analysis of the ceramics indicates a consistent habitation from the Archaic through the Classical period. Concentrations of miniature votives and fine wares were also found on hillsides, possibly indicating open-air shrines. Our work also highlights the need to conserve the structures in the Upper Plain.

Data Supplement: Dataset with Tweets containing the terms "digital" and "peacebuilding", 03/2006-12/2021

This dataset was developed for the empirical analysis of public social media discourse on the topic of digital peacebuilding. It contains tweets with the terms “digital” and “peacebuilding” posted in the period March 2006 - December 2021. The tweets were collected via the Academic Research API, using the academictwitteR R package. Retweets were excluded from the data collection. Furthermore, Twitter IDs, duplicates and emojis were removed from the data. The data was subsequently coded with the Qualitative Data Analysis (QDA) software 'Atlas.ti'. The coding was carried out in-vivo, using text and GREP search auto-coding. All codes were manually reviewed and then clustered into seven code groups, to which each of the intellectual maneuvers in the article speaks. Given this approach, no code book was necessary. The second sheet (“Code Groups”) contains the codes associated with each code group. The third sheet („Tweets“) contains all tweets and indicates how they have been coded, i.e., 0 means they code has not been assigned, 1 means the code has been assigned.

Digitized, corrected and supplemented data on net zooplankton of the Far East seas and adjacent Pacific Ocean waters from five rare reference books published in Russian in limited editions

Data on plankton collected by the Juday net in 1984-2013 in the Far Eastern seas and the north-western Pacific containing the species composition, occurrence and abundance of zooplankton in the surveyed area. The data is aggregated by species, developmental stages, size fractions, regions, vertical layers of water, light and dark time of day, four seasons of the year and perennial periods. It is accompanied shape-files with polygons of the regions by which data is summarized with information about surface areas and water volumes in each of them. The scope of application of this data is fundamental to the management of marine resources, aquaculture development, nature conservation, and assessment of the damage of various anthropogenic factors on nature.
