Study-Data: Longitudinal Study about the relationship between computer mouse usage and emotional states
<p>This Dataset contains the raw data files of the longitudinal study about the relationship between computer mouse usage and emotional states. The files are gzipped json files.</p> <p>There are 3 separate data files.</p> <ol> <li>The self-directed mouse usage data recorded during a 5 minute interval of regular computer use (FreeMouse_dataset)</li> <li>The mouse usage data during the point-and-click task (MouseTask_dataset)</li> <li>The sociodemographics of the dataset (sociodem_dataset)</li> </ol> <p>Note that the sociodemographic data is also included in the FreeMouse dataset as well as in the MouseTask dataset.</p> <p>For any questions about the dataset, contact: paul.freihaut@psychologie.uni-freiburg.de</p>
eSEEd: emotional State Estimation based on Eye-tracking dataset
<p>We present eSEEd- emotional State Estimation based on Eye-tracking database. Eye movements of 48 participants were recorded as they watched 10 emotion evoking videos each of them followed by a neutral video. Participants rated five emotions (tenderness, anger, disgust, sadness, neutral) on a scale from 0 to 10, later translated in terms of emotional arousal and valence levels. Furthermore, each participant filled 3 self-assessment questionnaires. An extensive analysis of the participants' answers to the questionnaires self-assessment scores as well as their ratings during the experiments is presented. Moreover, eye and gaze features were extracted from the low level eye recorded metrics and their correlations with the participants' ratings are investigated. Finally, analysis and results are presented for machine learning approaches, for the classification of various arousal and valence levels based solely on eye and gaze features. <p>This folder contains the data and R scripts needed to replicate the analysis of the publication entitled "<span>Emotional states elicited by wolf videos are diverse and explain general attitudes towards wolves". <span>This dataset represents a social survey in rural populations of 24 randomly selected cities in France (n=795) to (i) quantify emotional diversity and (ii)<span> test the relationship between emotional states and attitudes towards wolves, accounting for individual and regional factors. <span>All </span>data were collected between November 2018 and May 2019. </span></span></span></p>
