In context of the WHY project these external stimuli are called &ldquo;interventions&rdquo;. <p>This folder contains the policy database belonging to the publication <strong>"Building a Database for Energy Sufficiency Policies"</strong> (<a href="https://doi.org/10.12688/f1000research.108822.2">https://doi.org/10.12688/f1000research.108822.2</a>).</p> <p><span>Version 1.1 of the database is replacing version 1.0 from January 2023 of the sufficiency policy database. Survey questionnaire and results on Structural Barriers to Investment in Energy Efficiency Policies in the Private Rented Sector

<p>The online survey was designed and conducted in the framework of the EU H2020 project ENPOR (&quot;Actions to Mitigate Energy Poverty in the Private Rented Sector). The aim of the survey was to receive statistically sound insights on structural factors that affect the implementation of energy efficiency policies for the alleviation of energy poverty in the European Private Rented Sector. We developed it&nbsp;as an explorative, semi-quantitative, self-completion online questionnaire, using the online tool &ldquo;EUSurvey&rdquo;. We performed the online survey among different stakeholders from academia, policy, NGO&rsquo;s, landlords and tenant associations, etc.</p>

Participant observation data from local, storytelling, multi-stakeholder energy policy workshops

<p>The SHAPE ENERGY (EU Horizon 2020) undertook 17 multi-stakeholder energy policy workshops over November 2017 &ndash; May 2018. These workshops were mostly in partnership with municipalities who posed local energy problems that needed to be &lsquo;solved&rsquo;. The workshops brought local stakeholders together through storytelling facilitation techniques. The included data herein are anonymised components of the completed participant observation templates that partners used at these workshops. In particular, the data predominately relates to the conversational exchanges in one very closely monitored session across all the workshops.</p>

Norway energy policy optimization results

<p>These files contain the raw&nbsp;results from master thesis on Norwegian energy policy directions. The each folder&nbsp;has a&nbsp;html file (with basic plots), a netcdf file and a series of csv files. The four&nbsp;scenarios uploaded are the unconstrained (model is free to install capacity as it wants) and base case (current norwegian policy direction), for both a beyond 2030 and beyond 2050 timeline. By downloading the Netlogo file, one could not only rerun the experiment we report on and recreate the data table but toggle parameters or edit the model to explore other dynamics.</p>

<p>This dataset supplements the article with the title &quot;Deep decarbonisation pathways of the energy system in times of unprecedented uncertainty in the energy sector&quot;, published in Energy Policy.&nbsp;</p> <p>The dataset contains the following:</p> <ul> <li>The Latin Hypercube Sample of the multipliers that are applied to the key input parameters of ETSAP-TIAM in order to generate 1000 different states of the world regarding economic and demographic growth, energy resources potentials, energy technology costs, climate sensitivity and radiative forcing, LULUCF CO<sub>2</sub> sink potential, CO<sub>2</sub> sequestration potential, and decoupling between energy consumption and economic development. The multipliers are sampled from the underlying probability distributions described in the article.&nbsp;</li> <li>The results (at the global scale) from four scenario families for each one of the 1000 wofld states. These scenario families are: <ul> <li>BASE_SSP2:&nbsp;Describes the development of the global energy system consistent with recent trends and policies.</li> <li>2C_SSP2: Introduces to the BASE_SSP2 scenario a global constraint of 2&nbsp;&deg;C as the maximum post-industrial temperature change from 2020 to 2100.</li> <li>2C_SSP2_DA30:&nbsp;Delayed climate action.
