<p>This dataset contains the annotation of speech spoken in the research cut (Hanke et al. 2014; Hanke et al., 2016) of the movie "Forrest Gump" (Zemeckis, 1994) and its audio-description that was broadcast as an additional audio track (Koop et al., 2009) for visually impaired listeners on Swiss public television. The article emphasizes the importance of pronunciation, intonation, fluency, and communicative skills in language teaching. It explores various methodologies for enhancing speech competence, including language immersion, pronunciation practice, technology integration, and cultural competence development. The article also highlights the significance of continuous professional development, peer collaboration, and assessment and feedback in the improvement process. By following these methodological approaches, future foreign language teachers can enhance their speech competence, leading to more effective language instruction and enhanced learning outcomes for their students.</p>

<p>This dataset contains the poems of the Quan Tang Shi 全唐詩 and Quan Song Shi 全宋詩, as found in the https://github.com/chinese-poetry/ repository. In addition to their original id/author/title/paragraphs, two extra fields per poem are provided: guangyun_annotation, which indicates the rhyming paragraphs according to the Guangyun (incl. interchangeability 通用 rules), and community_annotation, which indicates the rhyming paragraphs according to an annotator that uses detected rhyme communities to attribute a rhyme judgement.</p>
