Long-term immunity against yellow fever in children vaccinated during infancy: a longitudinal cohort study

<p>The data represent the concentrations of specific neutralizing antibodies following infant immunization against yellow fever. We used a microneutralization assay to measure protective antibodies against yellow fever virus in 587 Malian and 436 Ghanaian children vaccinated around age 9 months, and followed for 4.5 years (Mali), or 2.5 and 6 years (Ghana). We standardized antibody concentrations with reference to the yellow fever WHO International Standard.</p> <p>The serum samples used in this study, and the sample metadata included in the present dataset originate from trials of the meningococcal group A conjugate vaccine, MenAfriVac, namely the PsATT-004 (phase II) and Pers-004 (phase IV) studies in Ghana, and the PsATT-007 (phase III) and Pers-007 (phase IV) studies in Mali (clinical trial registry numbers ISRCTN82484612, ISRCTN10763234, PACTR201110000328305, and ISRCTN37623829). MenAfriVac was developed by PATH and Serum Institute India Pvt. Ltd. (SIIPL).</p> <p>This dataset consists of three files:</p> <p>1. Dataset Musculoskeletal pain in health professionals at the end of their studies and 1 year after entry into the profession: A multi-center longitudinal study.

<p>Dataset related to the paper &quot;Musculoskeletal pain in health professionals at the end of their studies and 1 year after entry into the profession: A multi-center longitudinal study.&quot;</p> <p><strong>Abstract</strong></p> <p>Background: Musculoskeletal pain, especially back pain, is common among health professionals (HPs). They reduce work productivity and cause high costs. This follow up study investigates the prevalence and individual course of Musculoskeletal pain among HP students at the end of their studies and one year after entering the health care workforce. Participants were asked whether their Musculoskeletal pain was related to study or work conditions.</p> <p>Method: Self reported one year prevalence for lower back pain, neck and shoulder pain, pain in arms or hands, and pain in legs or feet was collected by an online questionnaire at two timepoints from 1046 participating HPs. Generalized estimating equation (GEE) models of the binomial family with log link were employed to estimate adjusted prevalence and corresponding normal based 95% confidence intervals were derived using the bootstrap method with 1,000 replications.</p> <p>Results: Prevalence of lower back pain as well as neck and shoulder pain was very high at baseline and follow up in all students and later HPs. Prevalence for pain in arms or hands, legs or feet was lower and there were significant differences between the professions. HP associated their lower back pain and neck and shoulder pain clearly with study and work conditions; HPs linked pain in arms or hands, legs or feet strongly with work conditions only.</p> <p>Conclusion: The prevention of lower back pain and neck and shoulder pain must be included in the curricula of all health professions at universities. As best practice example, they should incorporate ergonomic measures and exercises as a daily routine of the formation of health professionals. The impact of physically demanding professional tasks on upper and lower extremities needs to be investigated in further studies in order to take preventive measures.</p>

<p><strong>Title:</strong></p> <p>Minimal Data Set for the Reproduction of Findings in &quot;Elayan et al., Cohort Profile: The ENTWINE iCohort Study, a Multinational Longitudinal Web-Based Study of Informal Care&quot;.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Study Summary:</strong></p> <p>The data sets provided herein are derived from the ENTWINE iCohort Study, a multinational web-based cohort study employing an intensive longitudinal design. The study integrates a two-wave panel survey (baseline and 6-month follow-up) with optional weekly diary assessments. The cohort comprises caregivers and care recipients from nine countries: the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, Italy, Sweden, Israel, Germany, Greece, Poland, and Ireland. The study aimed to examine the influence of personal, psychological, social, economic, and geographic factors on caregiving experiences.</p> <p>Participants were eligible if they met the following criteria: 1) residency in a participating country; 2) capability to respond to surveys in English, Swedish, German, Dutch, Italian, Greek, Hebrew, or Polish; 3) access to the internet and ability to use it; 4) at least 18 years of age; 5) self-declared cognitive and physical capacity to complete the surveys; 6) either providing care to an adult (aged &ge; 18 years) with a chronic health condition, disability, or other care need, or receiving care from an adult due to similar conditions.</p> <p>The detailed methodology and results of the study can be found in the associated manuscript. Albero study: a longitudinal database of the social network and personal networks of a cohort of students at the end of high school

<p><strong>ABSTRACT</strong></p> <p>The Albero study analyzes the personal transitions of a cohort of high school students at the end of their studies. The data consist of (a) the longitudinal social network of the students, before (n = 69) and after (n = 57) finishing their studies; and (b) the longitudinal study of the personal networks of each of the participants in the research. The two observations of the complete social network are presented in two matrices in Excel format. For each respondent, two square matrices of 45 alters of their personal networks are provided, also in Excel format. For each respondent, both psychological sense of community and frequency of commuting is provided in a SAV file (SPSS). The database allows the combined analysis of social networks and personal networks of the same set of individuals.</p> <p><strong>INTRODUCTION</strong></p> <p>Ecological transitions are key moments in the life of an individual that occur as a result of a change of role or context. This is the case, for example, of the completion of high school studies, when young people start their university studies or try to enter the labor market. These transitions are turning points that carry a risk or an opportunity (Seidman &amp; French, 2004). That is why they have received special attention in research and psychological practice, both from a developmental point of view and in the situational analysis of stress or in the implementation of preventive strategies.</p> <p>The data we present in this article describe the ecological transition of a group of young people from Alcala de Guadaira, a town located about 16 kilometers from Seville. Specifically, in the &ldquo;Albero&rdquo; study we monitored the transition of a cohort of secondary school students at the end of the last pre-university academic year. It is a turning point in which most of them began a metropolitan lifestyle, with more displacements to the capital and a slight decrease in identification with the place of residence (Maya-Jariego, Holgado &amp; Lubbers, 2018).</p> <p>Normative transitions, such as the completion of studies, affect a group of individuals simultaneously, so they can be analyzed both individually and collectively. From an individual point of view, each student stops attending the institute, which is replaced by new interaction contexts. Consequently, the structure and composition of their personal networks are transformed. From a collective point of view, the network of friendships of the cohort of high school students enters into a gradual process of disintegration and fragmentation into subgroups (Maya-Jariego, Lubbers &amp; Molina, 2019).</p> <p>These two levels, individual and collective, were evaluated in the &ldquo;Albero&rdquo; study. One of the peculiarities of this database is that we combine the analysis of a complete social network with a survey of personal networks in the same set of individuals, with a longitudinal design before and after finishing high school. This allows combining the study of the multiple contexts in which each individual participates, assessed through the analysis of a sample of personal networks (Maya-Jariego, 2018), with the in-depth analysis of a specific context (the relationships between a promotion of students in the institute), through the analysis of the complete network of interactions. This potentially allows us to examine the covariation of the social network with the individual differences in the structure of personal networks.</p> <p><strong>PARTICIPANTS</strong></p> <p>The social network and personal networks of the students of the last two years of high school of an institute of Alcala de Guadaira (Seville) were analyzed. The longitudinal follow-up covered approximately a year and a half. The first wave was composed of 31 men (44.9%) and 38 women (55.1%) who live in Alcala de Guadaira, and who mostly expect to live in Alcala (36.2%) or in Seville (37.7%) in the future. In the second wave, information was obtained from 27 men (47.4%) and 30 women (52.6%).</p> <p><strong>DATE STRUCTURE AND ARCHIVES FORMAT</strong></p> <p>The data is organized in two longitudinal observations, with information on the complete social network of the cohort of students of the last year, the personal networks of each individual and complementary information on the sense of community and frequency of metropolitan movements, among other variables.</p> <p><strong>Social network</strong></p> <p>The file &ldquo;Red_Social_t1.xlsx&rdquo; is a valued matrix of 69 actors that gathers the relations of knowledge and friendship between the cohort of students of the last year of high school in the first observation. The file &ldquo;Red_Social_t2.xlsx&rdquo; is a valued matrix of 57 actors obtained 17 months after the first observation.</p> <p>The data is organized in two longitudinal observations, with information on the complete social network of the cohort of students of the last year, the personal networks of each individual and complementary information on the sense of community and frequency of metropolitan movements, among other variables.</p> <p>In order to generate each complete social network, the list of 77 students enrolled in the last year of high school was passed to the respondents, asking that in each case they indicate the type of relationship, according to the following values: 1, &ldquo;his/her name sounds familiar&quot;; 2, &quot;I know him/her&quot;; 3, &quot;we talk from time to time&quot;; 4, &quot;we have good relationship&quot;; and 5, &quot;we are friends.&quot; The two resulting complete networks are represented in Figure 2. In the second observation, it is a comparatively less dense network, reflecting the gradual disintegration process that the student group has initiated.</p> <p><strong>Personal networks</strong></p> <p>Also in this case the information is organized in two observations. The compressed file &ldquo;Redes_Personales_t1.csv&rdquo; includes 69 folders, corresponding to personal networks. Each folder includes a valued matrix of 45 alters in CSV format. Likewise, in each case a graphic representation of the network obtained with Visone (Brandes and Wagner, 2004) is included. Relationship values range from 0 (do not know each other) to 2 (know each other very well).</p> <p>Second, the compressed file &ldquo;Redes_Personales_t2.csv&rdquo; includes 57 folders, with the information equivalent to each respondent referred to the second observation, that is, 17 months after the first interview. The structure of the data is the same as in the first observation.</p> <p><strong>Sense of community and metropolitan displacements</strong></p> <p>The SPSS file &ldquo;Albero.sav&rdquo; collects the survey data, together with some information-summary of the network data related to each respondent. The 69 rows correspond to the 69 individuals interviewed, and the 118 columns to the variables related to each of them in T1 and T2, according to the following list:</p> <p>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; &bull; Socio-economic data.</p> <p>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; &bull; Data on habitual residence.</p> <p>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; &bull; Information on intercity journeys.</p> <p>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; &bull; Identity and sense of community.</p> <p>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; &bull; Personal network indicators.</p> <p>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; &bull; Social network indicators.</p> <p><strong>DATA ACCESS</strong></p> <p>Social networks and personal networks are available in CSV format. In this way, we can examine the mutual dependence of individual trajectories and the structure of the relationships of the cohort of students as a whole. The complete social network corresponds to the same context of interaction: the secondary school. However, personal networks collect information from the different contexts in which the individual participates. The structural properties of personal networks may partly explain individual differences in the position of each student in the entire social network. In turn, the properties of the entire social network partly determine the structure of opportunities in which individual trajectories are displayed.</p> <p>The longitudinal character and the combination of the personal networks of individuals with a common complete social network, make this database have unique characteristics. A longitudinal study of the associations of children's body mass index and physical activity with blood pressure – dataset

<p>B-Proact1v is a longitudinal study examining changes in children’s physical activity and sedentary behaviours as they progress through primary school. In 2012-2013, 1299 Year 1 children (median age: 6 years) were recruited from 57 schools in greater Bristol, UK (total number of eligible children: 2600; recruitment rate: 50.0%). Following this, data were collected from 1223 Year 4 children (median age: 9 years) from 47 of the original schools between March 2015 and July 2016 (total number of eligible children: 2047; recruitment rate: 59.7%). This included 685 children from the original sample.</p> <p> </p> <p>This dataset represents a subset of the B-Proact1v data to examine the longitudinal associations of children’s body mass index and physical activity with blood pressure. Included in this repository is the dataset and a data dictionary. The dataset includes the variables that underlie the findings in a manuscript entitled ‘A longitudinal study of the associations of children’s body mass index and physical activity with blood pressure’ that has been submitted to PLOS ONE. This dataset has been made available so that future researchers can replicate the study findings using the data. The relationship between linguistic expression and symptoms of depression, anxiety, and suicidal thoughts: A longitudinal study of blog content

<p>To investigate the associations between linguistic features and symptoms of depression, generalised anxiety, and suicidal ideation, we extracted linguistic features from individuals&rsquo; blog content and correlated it with validated mental health data in a longitudinal study (n=38). Depressive symptoms were assessed using the self-report Patient Health Questionnaire (PHQ-9), anxiety symptoms using the self-report Generalised Anxiety Disorder Scale (GAD-7), and social media data was analysed using the Linguistic Inquiry and Word Count (LIWC) tool for linguistic features. Bivariate and multivariate analyses were performed to investigate the correlations between the linguistic features and mental health scores between subjects. We then used the multivariate regression model to predict longitudinal changes in mood within subjects.</p>

Obesity is associated with increased self-reported pain intensity and pain-related disability, reductions in physical functioning and poorer psychological well-being. People living with obesity tend to respond less well to pain treatments or management compared to people living without obesity. Mechanisms linking obesity and pain are complex and may variously include contributions from and interactions between physiological, behavioural, psychological, socio-cultural, biomechanical, and genetic factors. Our aim is to study the multidimensional pain profiles of people living with obesity, over time, in an attempt to better understand the relationship between obesity and pain.<br> &nbsp;</p> <p><em>Methods and analysis: </em></p> <p>This longitudinal observational cohort study will recruit (n=216) people living with obesity and who are newly attending three&nbsp;weight management services in Ireland. Participants will complete questionnaires that assess their multidimensional biopsychosocial pain experience at baseline and at 3, 6, 12 and 18-months post-recruitment. Quantitative analyses will characterise the multidimensional pain experiences and trajectories of the cohort as a whole and in defined sub-groups.<br> &nbsp;</p> <p><em>Ethics and dissemination: </em></p> <p>The study protocol has been approved by the Ethics and Medical Research Committee of St Vincent&rsquo;s Healthcare Group, Dublin, Ireland (Reference No.: RS21-059) and the University College Dublin Human Research Ethics Committee (Reference No.: LS-E-22-41-Hinwood-Smart). Findings will be disseminated through peer-reviewed journals, conference presentations, public and patient advocacy groups, and social media.</p>

A Study of Hyporheic Characteristics Along a Longitudinal Profile of Lookout Creek, Oregon, 2003

Time series of tracer (Rhodamine WT) concentration data representing a "break-through curve" resulting from a single, multi-scale tracer test conducted along the length of Lookout Creek, from its 2nd-order headwaters through its 5th-order main stem. The longitudinal tracer test involved an in-stream injection of Rhodamine WT over 78 hrs, followed by monitoring at eight downstream locations for five months, starting in mid-June 2003 through the middle of November 2003. The injection site was located below the upper Old Growth Trail bridge. The monitoring sites include one downstream of the injection site, above and below the Cold Creek confluence, below the lower Old Growth Trail bridge, below Mack Creek confluence, above and below McRae Creek confluence, and at the HJA headquarters. Three additional inter-order tracer tests (IOTT) were carried out between each of the major stream confluences along Lookout Creek. The injection site for the McRae Creek IOTT was located below the McRae Cr. confluence and was monitored just downstream, at the end of the main floodplain, and at HJA headquarters. The injection site for the Mack Creek IOTT was located below the Mack Cr. confluence and was monitored just downstream, at an unnamed tributary midway between Mack Cr. and McRae Cr., and above the McRae Cr. confluence. The injection site for the Cold Creek IOTT was located below the Cold Cr. confluence and was monitored just downstream, at Longer Cr., and at the lower Old Growth Trail bridge. Concentration break through curves are available for all of the monitoring sites for the longitudinal and inter-order tracer tests. Flux break through curves are available for most of the monitoring sites. STAMMT-L model estimates for hyporheic exchange is listed for most of the monitoring sites.

Longitudinal observational study of pediatric patients with primary brain tumors: establishment of a hospital-based registry.

<p>Although tumors of the central nervous system (CNS) represent 2 % of all malignancies in general, they cause a disproportionately large morbidity and mortality and are the second most common form of cancer in children and the major solid tumor in childhood in the U.S., occurring in 21.3% of all children with malignant disease. The treatment of brain tumors in children and adolescents has evolved significantly in recent decades. Nowadays, most children with a diagnosis of brain tumor are treated properly and achieve prolonged survival. In order to obtain an overview of the impact of brain tumors, specialized registries, which provide information on all types of brain tumors, have emerged in several countries. Following on the pioneering Japanese and American experiences of specialized national records of brain tumors, other specialized registries were opened in European countries. This project aims to initiate a registry of the epidemiological profile of patients treated for CNS tumors in the Pediatric Cancer Center (CPC) of our hospital from January 2000 to December 2013, at diagnosis and during follow-up, updating information periodically. This data will be recorded in an electronic database capable of storing, retrieving and presenting information of interest. Prospectively recorded epidemiological data of patients diagnosed from January 2014 will be accrued, maintaining the database active to continuously record information on patients with CNS tumors treated in the CPC HIAS. Thus, creating a hospital registry of pediatric patients with CNS tumors. To this end, an instrument of data collection will be created using Google Apps (Google Inc., 2014), a digital platform with capacity for storage, creation and editing of documents and collaboration in real time over the cloud.</p>

We enrolled 16 adult-onset DM1 patients, 16 DM2 patients, and 17 controls. At baseline (T1) and at follow-up (T2) participants underwent neurological, neuropsychological, and 3T-brain MRI examinations using identical study protocols that included voxel-based morphometry and diffusion tensor imaging.</p> <p>The ZIP-file contains imaging result files from the different statistical analyses.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p>

Continuous Digital Monitoring of Walking Speed in Frail Elderly Patients: Noninterventional Validation Study and Longitudinal Clinical Trial (Data for independent validation study)

<p>Digital technologies and advanced analytics have drastically improved our ability to capture and interpret health relevant data from patients. However, to date, limited data and results have been published detailing real-world patient compliance, demonstrating accuracy in target indications or examining what novel insights and clinical value can be derived. Here we present novel, digital mobility data from two studies: an independent, non-interventional validation study with elderly, naturally slow walking subjects, and a global, multi-site phase IIb clinical trial involving patients with age-related muscle loss and slow walking speed (sarcopenia). Based on these data, we validate the accuracy of a novel algorithm for capturing in-clinic and real-world gait speed in frail, slow-walking adults. We demonstrate the feasibility of continuous monitoring with a wearable inertial sensor in elderly adults in real-world settings, and propose minimum thresholds for compliance required for robust capture of gait behaviors in this population. We also show how simple, inferred contextual information, describing the length of a given walking bout, can explain some of the variation in real-world gait speed, and use this information to demonstrate for the first time a relationship between in-clinic performance and real-world gait speed behavior. This work lays a foundation for exploration of the clinical relevance and value of such measures and is a first step in building a more complete chain of evidence between standardized physical performance assessment, real-world behavior, and subjective perceptions of mobility, independence and health.</p> <p>This dataset contains data collected during the independent validation study: derived data from raw accelerometry data, and summary performance data.</p> <p>The full dataset, including raw accelerometry data, is available here:&nbsp;<a href="https://mueller-et-al-2019.s3.amazonaws.com/index.html">https://mueller-et-al-2019.s3.amazonaws.com/index.html</a></p>

T-Evos: A Large-Scale Longitudinal Study on CI Test Execution and Coverage Evolution

<p><strong>Description</strong></p> <p>T-Evos is a dataset on test results and coverage evolution, covering 6,495 consecutive commits across 12 open-source Java projects.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Version 0.1.0</strong></p> <p>We have included the test results and code coverage&nbsp;data. The test results data has been combined into the `test_status.json` for ease of access at the root level of the repository. Each of the node zip files contains the code coverage data.
