<p>Dataset for the manuscript Marmet, Studer, Lemoine, Grazioli, Bertholet & Gmel (2019). Reconsidering the associations between self-reported alcohol use disorder and mental health problems in the light of co-occurring addictions in young Swiss men. Plos One. DOI: 10.1371/journal.pone.0222806.</p> <p>The dataset contains all data needed to reproduce the results in the above cited manuscript. Variable description and labels can be found in the codebook. For further information on the instruments used please refer to the manuscript.</p> <p>The data was collected between April 2016 and March 2018 in Switzerland by the C-SURF study (<a href="http://www.c-surf.ch">www.c-surf.ch</a>). Participants were on average 25 years old when they answered the questionnaires. The final sample size used in the manuscript is 5516. Please note that the dataset contains 25 datasets created with multiple imputation, therefore there are no missing values in the dataset.</p> <p>The research protocol for this study was approved by the Human Research Ethics Committee of the Canton Vaud (Protocol No. 15/07). Data collection was funded by the Swiss National Science Foundation (FN 33CSC0-122679, FN 33CS30_139467, FN 33CS30_148493)</p>
Compost Amendments up to One Inch Restore Dry Rangeland Soil Health and Plant Productivity in New Mexico, 2020-2022
Dry rangelands are important systems for coproducing food and other ecosystem services, but degradation of productivity, diversity, and water holding capacity may require active intervention to restore. Use of compost amendments on grasslands has been shown to improve many outcomes related to carbon, water, and nutrients unless excessive amounts are used, but practitioners lack guidance of optimal and cost-effective use to meet their management goals. We compared compost additions from 0-2.54 cm at two ranches in New Mexico and measured plant composition and biomass, soil characteristics such as bulk density, infiltration rate, aggregate stability, and total carbon content under baseline conditions and one- and two years after addition.

<p>One Health Database Africa<br> The “One Health and Veterinary Systems in Africa: Taking stock of current coverage, needs, and opportunities to meet present and changing threats and optimize collaboration” is reviewing current capacity and programmatic status, gaps, and operations in each country and by sub-regions of Africa.</p> <p>This datasets combines multiple sources to produce a single One Health database containing selected indicators. The database encompasses 54 countries across the continent of Africa (according the UN).</p>

One Health EJP 4th Dissemination Workshop: Communication, education and training, and science to policy translation. Lessons learnt and legacy of the One Health EJP
<p>The Dissemination Workshops inform on One Health EJP solutions created in response to stakeholder needs, fostering the link between stakeholders and the consortium. Previous Dissemination Workshops targeted policy and decision makers at the national, European, and international level (reports available <a href="https://onehealthejp.eu/outcomes/science-to-policy-translation/reports">here</a>). This workshop instead is dedicated to all those who would like to set up One Health initiatives, encouraging them to learn from the experience of the One Health EJP.</p> <p>The 4th virtual One Health EJP Dissemination Workshop focuses on the interaction with stakeholders to translate science into policy, the impact of the education and training activities, and strategies used for effective dissemination of One Health solutions. Online presentations are given by the members of the One Health EJP <a href="https://onehealthejp.eu/outcomes/science-to-policy-translation/reports">Science to Policy Translation</a> (WP5), <a href="https://onehealthejp.eu/community/education-and-training">Education and Training</a> (WP6), and Communications Teams.</p> <p>Through this workshop, One Health EJP consortium members provide examples of successful strategies and lessons learnt, with the objective of inspiring all those working in this field or setting up new One Health initiatives and increasing the impact of One Health activities in Europe. This is an important legacy of the One Health EJP.</p> <p>Sessions include:</p> <ol> <li> Welcome and introduction.</li> <li> Education and training: Training a new generation of One Health scientists.</li> <li> Communication and dissemination: How to reach One Health audiences.</li> <li> Interactions with stakeholders: targeted dissemination, support, and advocacy. Food and waterborne outbreaks data complementing the European Union One Health 2018 Zoonoses Report
<p>Food and waterborne outbreaks data reported under the framework of Directive 2003/99/EC and in accordance with the update of the technical specifications for harmonised reporting of FBOs through the EU reporting system in accordance with Directive 2003/99/EC. This dataset includes the number of outbreaks, as well as the number of human cases, hospitalisations and deaths, per causative agent. In addition, other information can include data on causative agents, food vehicles, and the factors in food preparation and handling that contributed to the food-borne outbreaks. Reporting countries can also provide information on the nature of the evidence supporting the suspicion of the food vehicle. This evidence can be epidemiological, microbiological, descriptive environmental, or based on product tracing investigations. </p>
