Alba Fucens, Portico e Foro. Dataset ricostruzione virtuale, back-end scientifico, storytelling

<p>Ricostruzione virtuale del Portico e del Foro&nbsp;di Alba Fucens: elaborazione modelli 3D, ricostruzioni virtuali, contributi audiovisivi, foto sferiche&nbsp;e rendering per la visita on site e mediante webapp dell&#39;area archeologica.&nbsp;</p> <p>Una mappa 2d posiziona i punti di vista in pianta ai&nbsp;quali&nbsp;si riferiscono le foto e i rendering sferici&nbsp;360 mostrano&nbsp;come si presenta attualmente l&#39;area archeologica e come era.</p> <p>Il modello 3D ricostruisce il Portico e il Foro sul quale si affaccia.&nbsp; Il dataset &egrave; stato modellato e texturizzato su 3ds Max tramite modellazione poligonale a partire da materiale di ricerca composito: rilievi cad, riferimenti fotografici, appunti di scavo. Illuminazione, creazione dei materiali e rendering 360&deg; sono stati effettuati su Unreal Engine 5.0. I&nbsp;file 3d rilasciati sono in formato .max e .fbx per interoperabilit&agrave;.</p> <p>La vista&nbsp;360 dell&#39;attuale e dell&#39;ipotesi ricostruttiva sono accompagnati da una voice over che fornisce informazioni storiche.&nbsp;Alla ricostruzione sono associati due audiovisivi (identificati da maschere semantiche):&nbsp;&quot;Il Foro&quot; e &quot;Calendario&quot;. Questi&nbsp;contenuti aggiuntivi permettono di approfondire la vista del Foro anche da un altro punto prospettico e la sua funzione, e il&nbsp;calendario dipinto sull&rsquo;intonaco di un edificio&nbsp;per il quale sono stati ritrovati dei frammenti.</p> <p>La ricostruzione &egrave; supportata dai contributi relativi al backend scientifico che mostrano&nbsp;con colorazioni differenti il livello di affidabilit&agrave; e&nbsp;le fonti a supporto dell&#39;ipotesi ricostruttiva.&nbsp;</p> <p>Tutti i contenuti di storytelling e scientifici sono in italiano e inglese. Batavia portico

Between 1972 and 1976 the Department of Maritime Archaeology conducted a series of excavations on the wreck of *Batavia* (1629). Artefacts recovered from these excavations were treated by the Western Australian Museum's Department of Materials Conservation and may now be seen in the Maritime Museum and Shipwreck Galleries in Fremantle, and in the Western Australian Museum in Geraldton. Part of a portico façade was also found on the site. Comprising 97 (of a total of 149) blocks weighing over 36 tonnes, the portico was reconstructed and is on display in the WA Museum in Geraldton. From archival research, it was found that the portico was destined for either the Land Port or the Waterport for the Castle at Batavia. Source: Objaverse 1.0 / Sketchfab

Deir el-Bahari, North Wall, Middle Portico

Damaged reliefs on the north wall of the hypostyle hall of the Anubis shrine on the Middle portico of the Temple of Hatshehp at Deir el-Bahari, Luxor Egypt. These relief carvings show deliberate destrution which took place during the reign of Thutmose. The names and figures of Hatshepsut have been chiseled off the walls, while those of Thutmose III are preservered and untouched. Created from 200 photos (Canon EOS Rebel T5i, 18MP) using Metashape Professional 1.6.1. It was photographed in January 2020. Model is scaled 1:1 with units in meters. The remains of the portico of the Roman Forum

This is the portico of the Roman Forum of Terracina, Italy. You can notice the remains of marble flooring and columns of the Emilian Forum Without doubt it is a particular monument as it keeps still today not only the ancient limestone paving as well as the original function of civil and religious centre of the town. Its name comes from Aulus Aemilius, the local magistrate who, between the end of the 1st century B.C. and the beginning of the 1st century A.D., ordered to pave the square and to engrave his own name on the stone blocks.
