WSC 2007 - 2012 Yahara Watershed surface water quality policies and practices created and implemented by public agencies
This dataset was created June 2012 - August 2013 to contribute to research under the Water Sustainability and Climate project. Interventions collected are those land-based policies and practices written and implemented by public agencies. Policies were implemented in Wisconsin's Yahara Watershed the period 2007-2012. They aim to improve surface water quality through nutrient (phosphorus and nitrogen) and sediment reduction. Interventions included in the mapping must have spatially-explicit, publicly available data through personal communication or website.

<p>Dataset supporting "AGU Publications updates authorship policy to foster better equity and transparency in global research collaboration." </p> <p>This file provides summary data for new submissions for "Global Biogeochemical Cycles" (GBC) and "Journal of Geophysical Research: Biogeosciences" (JGR: Biogeo) from 2012 through 2023 including International Collaboration Status (whether more than one country was represented on the author list), Research4Life Author Status (whether any author was from a country on the Research4Life eligibility list [https://www.research4life.org/access/eligibility/]), and Research4Life Abstract Status (whether the submission abstract referenced a country on the Research4Life eligibility list). </p> <p>Summary data for all AGU journals combined are provided for years 2012 and 2023, including whether more than one country was represented by the author list and whether any author was from a country on the Research4Life eligibility list. </p> <p>Summary data are presented in compliance with AGU's Privacy Policy, https://www.agu.org/Privacy-Policy</p>
Adirondack Public Good Events Database: Natural Resource, Environmental, Economic and Recreation Policy and Common Pool Resources for a Social-Ecological System in Adirondack Park, New York, USA, 1760-2020.
I assembled this dataset from various published sources to evaluate how the social-ecological system (SES) in Adirondack Park, New York changed through time and the interplay of public goods (Common Pool Resources, CPRs), public land rules and private land rights, and related concepts over 260 years (1760-2020). The database was the basis for a doctoral dissertation titled "Blue Lining: Assessing the Resilience of Adirondack Park, New York Using Polycentricity and Panarchy Frameworks." The goal of the dissertation was to assess patterns and changes in institutional rules, actors and arrangements before and after establishment of the public Adirondack Forest Preserve in 1885 and Adirondack Park in 1892 as those actors and rules were modified and as both internal and external events influenced the SES as it moved through different phases of the adaptive cycle through space and time (see panarchy). Using the database, I identified which organizations and events contributed to natural resource and CPR policy. Insights into European research funders policies and practices - public dataset
<p>This is the dataset arising from a survey of European research funders on Open Access (OA) and Research Data (RD) policies, commissioned by SPARC Europe, in consultation with representatives from the following organisations: <a href="https://www.allea.org/">ALLEA</a>, the <a href="https://www.efc.be/">European Foundation Centre</a> and <a href="http://scienceeurope.org/">Science Europe</a> and a wider advisory group.</p> <p>Launched in the spring of 2019, the survey, which targeted about 400 funders, garnered just over 60 responses from 29 countries. The cohort includes important national funding agencies (almost 50%), pan-European funders, national and regional academies, foundations and philanthropic organisations and research charities. </p>

<p>The file contains one excel file with two datasheets, one with legislations from Brazilian Federal Government and other from Health Professional Councils, from 1990 to 2019. Each spreadsheet has the original database, the number ID of the normative, what institution the document is from, its publication date, the abstract (in Portuguese), its public URL, historical phases and the purpose of it.</p>
Sistematic Mapping review of literature about public policies innovation and reading competences
<p>The systematic mapping method makes possible to identify what is known about a topic, what has been researched, what aspects remain unknown, and to obtain information about current trends and future challenges regarding this topic. In this Excel , the following articles were included: studies on innovative public policies related to reading skills, those published only in journals that can be found in two databases: Web of Science (WOS) and Scopus, published from January 2015 to December 2019, and related to the educational sector (social sciences, psychology, multidisciplinary, educational research, medical education, environmental education).</p>

Data set on public opinion on differentiation as policy choice
<p>The opinion poll has been conducted with the support of a Dalia Research GmbH. The aim was to involve a representative sample of citizens from all 27 EU countries and 4 non-EU countries (UK, Norway, Turkey, Ukraine). Data has collected through device agnostic surveys with responsive design for desktop, laptop, tablet and smartphone. It develops a set of eight specific questions – two horizontal and six targeted ones, two for each policy area addressed by the project (Economic governance and single market, foreign, security and defence policy, area of freedom, security and justice, including migration policy). The dataset produced on the basis of the selected questions includes demographics of respondents (age, gender, education, rural / urban status etc.).</p>

Promoting responsible business conduct due diligence in public procurement: Cutting edge insights from academics, practitioners and policy makers
<p>On the 30<sup> </sup>May 2024 Sapiens Network, through our Early Stage Researcher Laura Treviño-Lozano and the OECD Centre for Responsible Business Conduct hosted an online about the link between responsible business conduct (RBC) due diligence and public procurement. The aim was to encourage debate about the ways in which RBC due diligence can be operationalised to prevent and address various adverse impacts that derive from public procurement. A topic that has been little explored so far and already a reality established in the adopted EU Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence Directive.</p> <p>Moderated by Lena Diesing (OECD), Sarah Reso (OECD) started the discussion with a presentation on the OECD’s research on the implications of RBC due diligence regulation on public procurement. Next, Laura Treviño-Lozano (Sapiens network) presented an open access <a title="https://url.uk.m.mimecastprotect.com/s/BOsTCGvj1hZPJAzukUTp5?domain=journals.sagepub.com" href="https://url.uk.m.mimecastprotect.com/s/BOsTCGvj1hZPJAzukUTp5?domain=journals.sagepub.com" target="_blank" rel="noopener">research paper</a>, co-authored with Ezgi Uysal (Sapiens Network), on establishing RBC due diligence as a contract performance condition under the EU Procurement Directive. Their presentations followed a roundtable discussion by experts and practitioners Zsofia Kerecsen (European Commission), Roberto Caranta (Sapiens Network), Carla Canal (Barcelona City Council) and Sophie Derksen (International Responsible Business Conduct Unit at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the Netherlands) on the importance, challenges and opportunities to integrate RBC due diligence in public procurement.</p> <p>This webinar is ideal for students, policymakers, and procurement practitioners aiming to learn from research and practice insights on responsible business conduct due diligence and public procurement.</p>
CATCH-EyoU: Public Authorities engaging with youth: Policy Documents: UK
<p>The specific data collected are written public documents by UK governmental and civil society actors regarding youth at European, national and local levels, produced during a three-year period between 2012-2014. The aim of the collection of public documents is to characterize contemporary European Union policy discourses and examine how policies and pronouncements about youth are both conceptualized and enacted in the UK. The dataset contains 10 primary documents selected and summarized in an Excel spreadsheet. Full citation of data sources is provided via excel spreadsheet. The dataset consists of original source document summaries that are catalogued in an excel spreadsheet by identifying information (author/title/year) and summaries of the general character of each document.</p>

<p>This online repository offers supplementary datasets supporting the findings in the research article titled "Using explainable machine learning to interpret the effects of policies on air pollution: COVID-19 lockdown in London," published in Environmental Science & Technology. The dataset contains air quality data from different monitoring sites in London between 2016 and 2020 and weather data for the same period. Additionally, the dataset incorporates 136 features relating to London's Middle Layer Super Output Areas (MSOAs) in the year 2019, which can be used to identify the key factors contributing to the heterogeneous changes in air quality levels at different spatial locations during the pandemic.
