The approach chosen to offer a viable and reliable solution for this application is based on the use of the well-known advantages of the GNSS system as the main driver for enhancing the accuracy of positioning. For this purpose, the data reported in this work are captured through a GNSS receiver operating over multiple frequency bands (L1, L2, L5) and combining signals from different constellations of navigation satellites (GPS, Galileo, and GLONASS), and they are processed through the precise point positioning (PPP) and real-time kinematic (RTK) techniques. Furthermore, aiming to improve global positioning, the processing unit fuses the results obtained with the data acquired through an inertial measurement unit (IMU), reaching final accuracy of a few centimeters. To validate the system designed and developed in this proposal, three different sets of tests were carried out in a (i) rotary table at the laboratory, (ii) GNSS simulator, and (iii) real conditions in an oceanic buoy at sea. The real-time positioning solution was compared to solutions obtained by post-processing techniques in these three scenarios and similar results were satisfactorily achieved. </pre>
Data of the publication "Real-time broadening of bath-induced density profiles from closed-system correlation functions"
<p>The Lindblad master equation is one of the main approaches to open quantum systems. While it has been<br> widely applied in the context of condensed matter systems to study properties of steady states in the limit<br> of long times, the actual route to such steady states has attracted less attention yet. Here, we investigate the<br> nonequilibrium dynamics of spin chains with a local coupling to a single Lindblad bath and analyze the transport<br> properties of the induced magnetization. Combining typicality and equilibration arguments with stochastic<br> unraveling, we unveil for the case of weak driving that the dynamics in the open system can be constructed<br> on the basis of correlation functions in the closed system, which establishes a connection between the Lindblad<br> approach and linear response theory at finite times. In this way, we provide a particular example where closed and<br> open approaches to quantum transport agree strictly. We demonstrate this fact numerically for the spin-1/2 XXZ<br> chain at the isotropic point and in the easy-axis regime, where superdiffusive and diffusive scaling is observed,<br> respectively.</p>

Dataset for Real-Time Indoor Localization System Based on Wearable Device, Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) Beacons, and Machine Learning
<p>The dataset titled <strong>"Real-Time Indoor Localization System Based on Wearable Device, Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) Beacons, and Machine Learning</strong><strong>"</strong> was collected to support the development of an indoor localization system that operates at the room level. The dataset includes measurements of Received Signal Strength Indication (RSSI) from Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) beacons (specifically the iBKS105 model) recorded by an ESP32 device. These RSSI values were captured across various rooms, allowing for precise localization within an indoor environment. The dataset is particularly useful for research in indoor localization system including machine learning-based localization algorithms.</p>

Data from: Persistent near real-time passive acoustic monitoring for baleen whales from a moored buoy: system description and evaluation
1. Managing interactions between human activities and marine mammals often relies on an understanding of the real-time distribution or occurrence of animals. Visual surveys typically cannot provide persistent monitoring because of expense and weather limitations, and while passive acoustic recorders can monitor continuously, the data they collect are often not accessible until the recorder is recovered. 2. We have developed a moored passive acoustic monitoring system that provides near real-time occurrence estimates for humpback, sei, fin, and North Atlantic right whales from a single site for a year, and makes those occurrence estimates available via a publicly accessible website, email and text messages, a smartphone/tablet app, and the U.S. Coast Guard's maritime domain awareness software. We evaluated this system using a buoy deployed off the coast of Massachusetts during 2015-2016 and redeployed again during 2016-2017. Near real-time estimates of whale occurrence were compared to simultaneously collected archived audio as well as whale sightings collected near the buoy by aerial surveys. 3. False detection rates for right, humpback, and sei whales were 0% and nearly 0% for fin whales, while missed detection rates at daily time scales were modest (12-42%). Missed detections were significantly associated with low calling rates for all species. We observed strong associations between right whale visual sightings and near real-time acoustic detections over a monitoring range of 30-40 km and temporal scales of 24-48 hours, suggesting that silent animals were not especially problematic for estimating occurrence of right whales in the study area. There was no association between acoustic detections and visual sightings of humpback whales. 4. The moored buoy has been used to reduce the risk of ship strikes for right whales in a U.S. Coast Guard gunnery range, and can be applied to other mitigation applications.
