Quality evaluation criteria, best practices, and assessment systems for Institutional Publishing Service Providers (IPSPs): dataset
<p>The dataset contains tabular information on the elements of best practice in scholarly publishing found in a set of documents (high-level recommendations and principles, indexation criteria and specific assessment guidelines used on the national and institutional levels). <p>The dataset of depersonalized qualitative semi-structured interviews with the representatives of public sector organisations providing public services in Lithuania. The data were collected in December-November, 2022 as a part of the project "Public services management system to improve the quality and accessibility of services" ("Viešųjų paslaugų vadybos sistema paslaugų kokybei ir prieinamumui gerinti"), grant no. 01.2.2-LMT-K-718-03-0019, funded by the Lithuanian research council. The interviews are in the Lithuanian language.</p>
Project "Public services management system to improve the quality and accessibility of services" (01.2.2-LMT-K-718-03-0019) literature review screening results
<p>The results of the keyword query in Scopus search with the abstracts were screened using <i>abstractr </i>platform at <a href="http://abstrackr.cebm.brown.edu">http://abstrackr.cebm.brown.edu</a>. Four reviewers reviewed intersecting subsets of the overall list of publications in separate reviews, therefore duplicate records in the file are possible. The results from four reviews were combined into one file using functionality of <i>abstractr </i>platform. The reviews were finalized in February, 2022. Majority of the publications from the Scopus query results were automatically assigned low relevance scores thanks to the active learning algorithm used by <i>abstractr</i> and therefore were not reviewed manually.</p><p>Notes on the columns of the dataset:</p><ul><li>(internal) id - internal id added by <i>abstractr.</i></li><li>(source) id - Scopus document id followed by underscore and '1' (if publication has DOI) or 'n' (if publication has no DOI).</li><li>keywords - authors' keywords and Scopus keywords concatenated from the Scopus query results.</li><li>abstract - an abstract of a publication from the Scopus query results.</li><li>title - title of a publication from the Scopus query results.</li><li>journal - journal of a publication from the Scopus query results.</li><li>authors - authors of a publlication from the Scopus query results.</li><li>consensus - for publications reviewed by multiple reviewers the consensus decision is signified by '1', no consensus - by 'x' and unable to asses consensus by 'o'. Relationships between needs satisfaction and the quality of motivation with academic engagement in pre-service physical education teachers
<p><span>Academic engagement has been identified as a key determinant in the learning process. Although research on initial teacher education has focused on understanding the mechanism that can foster strong academic engagement, little is known about the roles that basic psychological need satisfaction and academic motivation may perform. The objective of this research was to examine the predictive relationships between basic psychological need satisfaction (i.e., autonomy, competence, relatedness, and novelty) and academic engagement, considering the role of academic motivation. A cross-sectional and non-randomized design was used. A total of 920 students (61.8% male; <em>M</em><sub>age </sub>= 24.73; <em>SD </em><sub>age </sub>=5.34) participated from different universities. The results from structural equation modelling revealed that competence and novelty satisfaction significantly and positively predicted academic engagement. Autonomous motivation significantly mediated the association of competence and autonomy satisfaction with academic engagement. This research underscores the importance of considering competence and autonomy satisfaction as facilitators of autonomous motivation and academic engagement in pre-service teachers. </span></p>
Quality of care and performance indicators of mental health supported accommodation services in England
<p class="MsoNormal"><span>This dataset includes data from Mental Health supporting accommodation services in England. It includes information on resources (inputs) and outcomes (outputs) of care, which are described in the manuscript published in Plos One: "Almeda, N., García-Alonso, C. R., Killaspy, H., Gutiérrez-Colosía, M. R., & Salvador-Carulla, L. (2022). The critical factor: The role of quality in the performance of supported accommodation services for complex mental illness in England. Plos One, 17(3), e0265319. https://doi.org/10.1371/journal.pone.0265319"</span></p> <p class="MsoNormal"><span>The research associated with the present data focused on developing an analytical process for assessing the performance of the Mental health (MH) supporting accommodation services from 14 different regions of England considering the effect of the quality-of-care indicators in the performance. For doing so every service was classified in Residential Care (move on and non-move on oriented), Supported Housing or Floating Outreach. Then, information about the quality-of-care was collected from each domain of the instrument QuIRC-SA. Finally, a decision support system that integrated data envelopment analysis, Monte Carlo simulation and artificial intelligence was used.</span></p> <p class="MsoNormal"><span>The main results of the analyses pointed out that the incorporation of quality domains as variables (outputs) in DEA had a neutral-positive or positive global impact on the performance of MH-supported accommodation services.</span></p>
Mitigating ecosystem service tradeoffs in rangelands by using grazing duration and timing to manage water quality
<p>1. Mitigating ecosystem service (ES) tradeoffs is a key management goal in locations where stakeholders value different and potentially conflicting ecosystem services (ESs). However, studies are not often designed to examine how local management actions address ES tradeoffs, and therefore do not provide options that can alleviate conflict.</p> <p>2. In semi-arid rangelands, we examined the potential for managers to mitigate tradeoffs between livestock production and water quality. To move away from solutions that offer cattle removal as a singular management strategy, we examined how cattle presence, plus two elements of rotational grazing - the length of time cattle spend on rangeland (i.e., duration), and the season grazed (i.e., timing), affected stream Escherichia coli (E. coli concentrations). We also modeled how grazing duration and timing affected the ability to meet regulatory benchmarks for water quality throughout a grazing season.</p> <p>3. Grazing duration controlled the length of time E. coli concentrations were high in streams. In short- and medium-duration systems, E. coli concentrations were high for shorter periods of time than in long-duration systems, resulting in fewer violations of national and state water quality standards.</p> <p>4. Stream E. coli concentrations showed a consistent seasonal pattern, starting low in spring, peaking in summer, and declining towards fall. Thus, grazing during spring or fall, rather than in summer, reduced the number of days that E. coli levels exceeded water quality standards.</p> <p>5. Our results suggest that reducing the grazing duration and shifting its timing are complementary strategies that can mitigate the tradeoffs between livestock grazing and water quality without fencing-off riparian areas or removing cattle from pastures with streams.</p> <p>6. Synthesis and applications. In this study, we found grazing duration and timing can be used as tools to mitigate ES tradeoffs between cattle production and water quality in rangeland streams. Shorter grazing durations reduced the number of days <i>E. coli</i> levels were above regulatory limits, as did grazing that occurred either early or late in the season. These results support the idea that rotational grazing can be an effective strategy to manage water quality in semi-arid rangelands. They also highlight the need for more grazing studies that incorporate gradients of duration and timing into study designs.</p>

Based on the quality of service information, the V2X application can adapt behaviour to 3GPP System’s conditions. The benefits of this use case group are offerings of smoother user experience of service”.</p> <p>User Story: <strong>Tethering via vehicle using mmWave communication</strong></p> <p>Tethering via Vehicle use case enables in-vehicle UEs and pedestrian UEs to access the network with the help of a vehicle relay which is deployed at a vehicle. For in-vehicle UEs, through Tethering via Vehicle use case, it is possible to avoid high penetration loss occurring from the metallic vehicle surface, thereby achieving more reliable wireless connectivity as well as reduced UE power consumption. The in-vehicle UEs are also benefited from the minimized handover operations. Only the vehicle relays involve in the handover operations. For pedestrian UEs, tethering via Vehicle use case enables more reliable connectivity, increased throughput and reduced UE power consumption since it reduces the communication range of the pedestrian UEs.</p> <p>As a deployment scenario for Tethering via Vehicle use case, a vehicle relay can have the Internet connectivity to the network through a base station (BS) including macrocell BS, microcell BS, and BS-type road side unit (RSU). Another UE such as UE-type RSU can also provide the Internet connectivity to the network. Non-terrestrial links such as satellite BS, satellite relay, and high-altitude platform (HAP) can also be used to provide the Internet connectivity to the network.</p> <p>Tethering via Vehicle use case generally supports eMBB-type services such as web surfing, FTP, and video streaming. Hence, it intrinsically requires high data throughput up to several Gbps. In order to satisfy such very high throughput, large bandwidth is necessary which is quite difficult in lower frequency bands below 6 GHz. Therefore, mmWave frequency band should be employed to support such high throughput and to satisfy the Tethering via Vehicle use case.</p>

Quality of care in a differentiated HIV service delivery intervention in Tanzania: A mixed methods study
<p><b>Background:</b> Differentiated service delivery (DSD) offers benefits to people living with HIV (improved access, peer support), and the health system (clinic decongestion, efficient service delivery). ART clubs, 15-30 clients who usually meet within the community, are one of the most common DSD options. However, evidence about the quality of care (QoC) delivered in DSD is still limited.</p> <p><b>Materials and Methods:</b> We conducted a concurrent triangulation mixed methods study as part of the Test & Treat project in northwest Tanzania. We surveyed QoC among stable clients and health care workers (HCW) comparing between clinics and clubs. The Donabedian framework structured the analysis into three levels of assessment: structure (staff, equipment, supplies, venue), processes (time-spent, screenings, information, HCW-attitude), and outcomes (viral load, CD4 count, self-worth, health-status).</p> <p><b>Results: </b>We surveyed 629 clients (40% in club) and conducted eight focus group discussions, while 24 HCW (25% in club) were surveyed and 22 individual interviews were conducted. Quantitative results revealed that in terms of structure, clubs fared better than clinics except for perceived adequacy of service delivery venue (94.4% vs 50.0%, p=0.013). For processes, time spent receiving care was significantly more in clinics than clubs (119.9 vs 49.9 minutes, p=<0.001). Regarding outcomes, the proportion of clients with recent viral load <50 copies/ml was higher in clinics than clubs (100% vs 94.4%, p=<0.001). Qualitative results indicated that quality care was perceived similarly among clients in clinics and clubs but for different reasons. Clinics were generally perceived as places with expertise and clubs as efficient places with peer-support and empathy. In describing QoC, HCW emphasized structure-related attributes while clients focused on processes. Outcomes-related themes such as improved client health status, self-worth, and confidentiality were similarly perceived across clients and HCW.</p> <p><b>Conclusion:</b> We found better structure and process of care in clubs than clinics with comparable outcomes. While QoC was perceived similarly in clinics and clubs, its meaning was understood differently between clients. DSD catered to individual needs of clients, either technical care in the clinic or proximate and social care in the club. Our findings highlight that both clinic and DSD care are required as many elements of QoC were individually perceived.</p>

The Impact of Website Design, E-Service Quality, Satisfaction, Trust to Intention to Purchase Skin Care Products in the E-Marketplace
<p><strong><span>The study aims to identify factors influencing pricing, understand how pricing affects purchase intention and customer satisfaction, and provide valuable insights for skincare businesses to develop effective pricing strategies in Indonesia’s skincare market. The study used a purposive sampling approach, collecting data from 123 respondents who were internet users in Indonesia in January 2024. These respondents have engaged with online retailers to purchase skin care products. The results found that website design affects e-service quality, affecting customer satisfaction and trust. Customer satisfaction and trust have a significant impact on repurchase intentions. This study recommends that skincare businesses focus on website design, provide high-quality e-services, and implement customer satisfaction and loyalty programs.
