GIS00 GIS Coverages Defining the Site Boundary of Konza Prairie (1977-present)
This dataset contains the boundary polygon of the Konza Prairie Biological Station (KPBS). Data type one (GIS000) defines the original KPBS boundary used from 1977 until 1982, type two contains the extended boundary from 1982 (GIS001) to 1997, and type three (GIS002) contains the boundary since 1997. These data are available as zipped (.zip) shapefiles (.shp).
Long Term Ecological Research (LTER) Network Site Boundaries
This is a set of Long Term Ecological Research (LTER) site boundaries preserved as a shapefile. Note that for some sites “real” boundaries are included while others–particularly marine sites–use a simpler bounding box method. Each site is listed both with its three-letter abbreviation and its unabbreviated name. World Geodetic System 1984 (WGS84) is the coordinate reference system used (EPSG:4326). More information about any of the sites can be found on the LTER Site Profiles page on the LTER Network website (https://lternet.edu/site). This data product was made possible by the contributions of the Information Managers for the LTER sites, each of whom contributed their sites' boundaries. This version of the data includes the following changes from the prior version: - Arctic (ARC) updated - Cedar Creek (CDR) updated - Florida Coastal Everglades (FCE) updated - Harvard Forest (HFR) updated - Konza Prairie (KNZ) updated - McMurdo Dry Valleys (MCM) updated - Moorea Coral Reef (MCR) updated

The green leaf symbol indicates the site of the Arman Flora. Asterisks indicate the Okhotsk-Chukotka volcanogenic belt. Dashdotted line indicates the boundary between the Siberian- Canadian and Euro-Sinian palaeofloristic regions (modified from Vakhrameev 1991). in On The Likely Palaeoelevation Of The Turonian - Coniacian Arman Flora Site (North-Eastern Asia)

Mounded Site Boundaries

The dataset contains multi-period mounded site boundaries, mainly from the Khabur Basin. Please note the dataset is solely based on a desktop survey of CORONA imagery (https://corona.cast.uark.edu/). Therefore, no accuracy test was performed on the ground. Some polygons may be connected to each other if sites were considerably close together.

Projection: WGS 84 / UTM zone 37N (EPSG: 32637)

LBA-ECO LC-09 Natural, Infrastructure, and Boundary Features, Amazonian Sites, Brazil
This data set includes 16 zipped archives of shapefiles of cities, rivers and streams, roads, and study area boundaries of several Amazonian study sites: Altamira, Santarem, Bragantina, and Ponta de Pedras, in the state of Para, and 1 site at Machadinho D'Oeste, in the state of Rondonia. Data from Brazil were digitized from Instituto Nacional de Colonizacao e Reforma Agraria (INCRA) maps and other data from Instituto Brasileiro de Geografia e Estatistica (IBGE). These products were prepared in the 2000-2004 time period. The data of creation for the source material is unknown.
