Impact of Antipatterns on Software systems- Snowballing Process
<p> This study presents a systematic literature review that accumulates, summarizes, and reports the results of 97 relevant Primary Studies (PSs) concerning the impact of APs on Object Oriented (OO), Service Oriented (SO), and mobile Oriented (MO) software applications from 2005 to 2024 while considering several internal and external quality attributes. The PSs are classified based on the techniques used to find the impact of APs, type of datasets, evaluation measures, and tool support. </p>

Adaptation to viscous Snowball Earth Oceans is a path to complex multicellularity
<p>Animals, fungi, and algae with complex multicellular bodies all evolved independently from unicellular ancestors. The early history of these major eukaryotic multicellular clades, if not their origins, co-occur with an extreme phase of global glaciations known as the Snowball Earth. Here, I propose that the long-term loss of low viscosity environments due to several rounds global glaciation drove the multiple origins of complex multicellularity in eukaryotes and the subsequent radiation of complex multicellular groups. Under this scenario, life adapts to Snowball Earth oceans by evolving large size which acts to compensate for high viscosity seawater and maintain fluid flow at sufficient levels. Warm, low viscosity seawater returned with the melting of the Snowball glaciers and with it, by virtue of large multicellular bodies, new ways of life were unveiled.</p>
Assessing diversity in creating seed set for snowballing search for systematic literature review in software engineering
<p><strong><span>This set of files is complementary material used to evaluate the snowballing performance varying the seed set creation under the diversity perspective from the proposed tool. Specifically, the set of files includes a PDF with guidelines followed to replicate our seed set based on diversity characteristics and three spreadsheet that: i) presents the seed set of SLR Original; ii) describes the seed set recommended by tool; and iii) reflects the snowballing process and analysis.</span></strong></p>
