Prototyping 3D Virtual Learning Environments with X3D-based Content and Visualization Tools-Figure 11. Online accessible repository of digital data on cultural heritage with X3D models (STARC Web Repository, 2017, © Copyright 2017, STARC, Cyprus Institute. Used with permission)

Prototyping can also include the development of toolkits for automatic content generation simulator, but in the case of an architectural environment, the components are too complex to be automatically generated. Furniture elements or the learning artifacts (i.e. content created by learners) can be converted to be viewed in X3D compatible browsers or included in online galleries (Figure 11). After functional and 3D content prototyping, certain components of the virtual campus can be easily modified and adapted as needed.

Substance Painter Applied to Virtual Heritage
This scene was my final project for the online course taken at "Koré Formación Online en Patrimonio y Tecnología". The aim was to learn how to use this profesional software in order to create materials and textures for 3D scenes. 3D models provided at the online platform for the course were used for academic purposes. Romanesque Cover - Virtual Heritage
This is an exercise I've made from an online tutorial, the aim was to learn some techniques for architectural visualization in Blender and Substance Painter. In the annotations you will find some links from Wikipedia to learn more about romanesque architecture, an architectural style of medieval Europe. You can find this useful tutorial and many others that focus on virtual heritage at https://parpatrimonio.com/ Source: Objaverse 1.0 / Sketchfab
