The habitat is an open Cedar forest mixed with dry, species-rich meadows (photo. noRbERT PöLL); Fig. 72. Turkey, Middle Taurus, Civizli, type locality of Hydria cervinalis taurica ssp. n. during the flight period of the adults in mid-May.
