The excess adipose tissue influence on children asthma development
<p>Childhood obesity is a urgent problem of modern health care, as it is associated with high risk of chronic non-communicable diseases, one of which is asthma. <br> The study consisted of two stages: epidemiological and clinical diagnostic. <br> The epidemiological stage was planned in the format of a one-time study of a randomized sample of schoolchildren aged 7–11 by comprehensive examination including: collection of a medical history, physical examination, questioning using a specially developed questionnaire, measurement of anthropometric indicators with calculation of SDS BMI, bioimpedance measurement with determination main indicators of body composition.<br> The clinical diagnostic stage was planned in a case-control format, in which cytokine levels (IL-4, IL-10, IL-2, IL-1β, IL-6, TNFa, IL-17A, IL- 8) in blood serum, general and specific IgE, eosinophils in the blood were studied.</p>
