Legacy for LIFE Task 2.2: Livestock Number Quantification

<p>An Excel workbook developed by Paul R Price as part of the Legacy for LIFE project undertaken by An Taisce. The workbook includes publicly available projections data related to agricultural activity and methane emissions mitigation in Ireland, combined with a quantification methodology for livestock numbers in 2030 based on a precautionary approach that requires each scenario's methane target for 2030 to be met without fail. The workbook assesses methane scenario GHG outcomes, assuming linear pathways of animal population change from 2021 to 2030, and tests the outcomes against the EU ESR and national Sectoral Emission Ceilings.</p>
