Islamic Tower of Bujarrabal, Sigüenza (Spain)
The medieval tower of Bujarrabal is located in the town of the same name, currently belonging to Sigüenza (Spain). This tower was built in the Islamic period, possibly in the 10th century, to control the roads that pass through this area of the Iberian Peninsula. To improve its visual control, it was built at the highest point of the hill it occupies. Mleiha Farmhouse with Kitchen. This is located at the Mleiha Archaeological Area in Mleiha, Sharjah. It is a Pre-Islamic farmhouse similar to others in the Mleiha area. It dates to 200 BCE-100 CE. The rooms had many mini ovens, furnaces and grinding stones for grinding cereals and making bread. Of note, there is a large, industrial kitchen nearby, under the tent, that was scanned by GDH in 2019 using Faro S70 scanners.
