2019 - 2020 Digital Preservation Community Survey
<p>The OPF (Open Preservation Foundation) conducted the 2019/2020 community survey between November 2019 and Februrary 2020 and the results provide a detailed picture of the digital preservation landscape today. </p> <p>This data set contains:</p> <ul> <li>the OPF result report of the survey</li> <li>the raw data</li> <li>the list of questions as supplied in the questionnaire</li> <li>the survey guidance notes as supplied alongside the questionnaire</li> </ul> <p>All results are also available at: https://openpreservation.org/resources/surveys/</p> <p><strong>About the Survey: </strong></p> <p>The OPF 2019 Digital Preservation Community Survey aims to understand the current approach to digital preservation, identify the tools the community relies on and which resources are used to support day-to-day digital preservation work.<br> The results shall help to identify shared priorities and gaps in digital preservation today.<br> The survey is organised into four sections:</p> <ul> <li>Your Organisation</li> <li>Your Digital Preservation Technology</li> <li>Knowledge Sharing and Best Practice</li> <li>OPF membership</li> </ul> <p><strong>About the OPF:</strong></p> <p>The OPF (Open Preservation Foundation) is a global, not-for-profit membership organisation. The goal of the survey was to assess the current state-of-the-art in digital preservation and identify adoption of digital preservation tools and approaches. It followed on from the OPF member survey carried out in October 2014 to build an evidence base about OPF members, and steer the annual plan.
