The basic scheme of the multi-target evaluation (MTE) framework

Video S1: MTE. <span>The basic scheme of the multi-target evaluation (MTE) framework is shown in this video for a specific TR<sub>3</sub> size, using the HPA for mapping SAR<sub>10g,max</sub>. For MTE, hypothetical TRs (borderlines marked in black and green) are moved across the entire brain slice for the evaluation of the quality of targeted RF heating instead of using the conventional approach of defining a limited number of specific but arbitrary TRs. EMF simulations were performed for each TR position across a 26x27 rectangular grid with 702 points (step size = 7mm). PlasEval: a framework for comparing and evaluating plasmid binning tools
<p>PlasEval is a tool aimed at evaluating the accuracy and at comparing methods for the problem of <strong>plasmid binning</strong>. It has two modes: <strong>evaluate</strong> and <strong>compare</strong>.</p> <p>In the <strong>evaluation</strong> mode of PlasEval, a given set of <em>predicted plasmid bins</em> resulting from a plasmid binning method is evaluated against a <em>ground truth</em> set of plasmid bins, yielding three statistics, the <em>precision</em>, the <em>recall</em> and the <em>F1-score</em>.</p> <p>In the <strong>comparison</strong> mode of PlasEval, given two sets of <em>predicted plasmid bins</em> (either resulting from two plasmid binning tools or from a plasmid binning tool and a ground truth), PlasEval computes a <em>dissimilarity measure</em> that indicates how much both sets of predicted plasmid bins are in agreement.</p> <p>The data shared consists of output files of PlasBin-flow as well as those of 3 other plasmid binning methods, namely, HyAsP, MOB-recon and gplas for 53 test samples. Details about each sample have been provided in the file <strong>Ecoli_samples.csv</strong>. It also includes the short read assembly files (fasta as well as gfa) and the hybrid assembly files. The mappings of short-read contigs to hybrid contigs for all 53 samples have been provided in the <strong>BLAST_output </strong>folder. The plasmid bins, including those representing the ground truth, used as input for PlasEval have been provided in the <strong>PlasEval_input</strong> folder.</p> <p> </p>

Hybrid deep learning framework for evaluating field evapotranspiration considering the impact of soil salinity
<p>Entitled “A novel hybrid deep learning framework for evaluating field evapotranspiration considering the impact of soil salinity” for possible publication in Water Resources Research.</p> <p>Data:</p> <p>The Salinized Farmland Flux Station sites are located in the typical irrigated agricultural area of the arid continental monsoon region in northwest China.In this study, we used data from four flux tower located in saline farmland: two for maize (MZ1, MZ2) and two for sunflower (SF1, SF2).</p> <p>For each site, we collected the following variables at half-hourly temporal resolution: (i) latent heat (<em>LE</em>, W m<sup>-2</sup>) fluxes, serving as a direct measure representing the energy component of <em>ET</em> (mm h<sup>-1</sup>), (ii) net radiation (<em>R<sub>n</sub></em>, W m<sup>-2</sup>), (iii) ground heat flux (<em>G</em>, W m<sup>-2</sup>), (iv) solar irradiance (<em>R<sub>s</sub></em>, W m<sup>-2</sup>), (v) air temperature (<em>T</em><sub>a</sub>, °C), (vi) vapor pressure deficit (<em>VPD</em>, KP<sub>a</sub>), (vii) wind speed (<em>U<sub>s</sub></em>, m s<sup>-1</sup>), (viii) relative humidity (<em>RH,</em> %), and (ix) atmospheric carbon dioxide concentration (<em>C<sub>a</sub></em>, mg m<sup>-3</sup>). During the crop growth period, field in-situ measurements of soil and vegetation data from these farmlands are conducted approximately every 10 days. </p> <p>Code:</p> <p>All the codes were executed in Python. EVALUATION OF EDUCATIONAL POLICIES FOR EMERGENCY REMOTE EDUCATION AND THE POST-PANDEMIC: A STUDY BASED ON THE LEGAL FRAMEWORKS OF THE STATE SCHOOL SYSTEM OF RORAIMA, BRAZIL
<p>This article provides an assessment of the legal framework built during the social isolation phase of the COVID-19 pandemic, by the Federal Government and the State Government of Roraima, regarding the provision of Emergency Remote Teaching (ERE). This is a research with a qualitative approach, developed through document analysis and bibliographical research, with the selection and categorization of all educational regulations issued by the Union and the state of Roraima in the years 2020 and 2021, as well as articles that deal with of the theme of ERE in the Scielo database and in the Capes Catalog of Theses and Dissertations. The normative instruments that sought to guarantee the right to education of children, young people and adults in basic education when school attendance was prohibited were highlighted. Among the main conclusions, it was found that the lack of infrastructure and technological knowledge of school communities were obstacles, as the bibliography shows, even though legally there was a significant effort from the Roraima Government, to guarantee autonomy to schools in offering ERE.</p>
Survey data of an integrative evaluation framework for assessing the sustainability of different types of urban agriculture
<p>In this dataset we present core data of an integrative evaluation framework for assessing the environmental, social, and economic sustainability of urban agriculture. The multi-criteria analysis is conducted by an Analytic Hierarchy Process and a participatory approach. The data integrate the selection and weighting of sub-criteria based on two online surveys:</p> <p>1) Survey 1: The selection of suitable sub-criteria for assessing the sustainability of urban agriculture was done by European scientific experts.</p> <p>2) Survey 2: The weighting of the selected sub-criteria was done on the example of vertical farming and community supported agriculture. Data from: Evaluating population receptive field estimation frameworks in terms of robustness and reproducibility
Within vision research retinotopic mapping and the more general receptive field estimation approach constitute not only an active field of research in itself but also underlie a plethora of interesting applications. This necessitates not only good estimation of population receptive fields (pRFs) but also that these receptive fields are consistent across time rather than dynamically changing. It is therefore of interest to maximize the accuracy with which population receptive fields can be estimated in a functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI) setting. This, in turn, requires an adequate estimation framework providing the data for population receptive field mapping. More specifically, adequate decisions with regard to stimulus choice and mode of presentation need to be made. Additionally, it needs to be evaluated whether the stimulation protocol should entail mean luminance periods and whether it is advantageous to average the blood oxygenation level dependent (BOLD) signal across stimulus cycles or not. By systematically studying the effects of these decisions on pRF estimates in an empirical as well as simulation setting we come to the conclusion that a bar stimulus presented at random positions and interspersed with mean luminance periods is generally most favorable. Finally, using this optimal estimation framework we furthermore tested the assumption of temporal consistency of population receptive fields. We show that the estimation of pRFs from two temporally separated sessions leads to highly similar pRF parameters.
