Inferring predator–prey interaction in the subterranean environment: a case study from Dinaric caves

The datasets used in the analyses of predator-prey interactions in the subterranean environment of the Dinarides. We used spatial and phylogenetic methods and probabilistic model of species co-occurrence to asses the defensive role of spines in Niphargus amphipods against the olm's predation. We provide Dinaric distribution data for both Niphargus and the olm used in spatial and probabilistic analyses, as well as Niphargus phylogenetic tree and trait matrices used in trait evolution analyses.
