Cavalry soldier toy
My second go at photogrammetry ([after a messy first one](https://skfb.ly/6ABAt)), on a 10cm long lead toy, and it went great IMHO :-) . I am not a toy soldiers enthusiast nor historian, but from the few hits google gave me, I found out that this is probably a french "hussar" or a "horse-riding hunter" from the WW1 era. **If anyone has any precise knowledge about where and when this soldier comes from, please let me know in the comments!** Concerning the scanning process, I used **colmap** and **OpenMVS** as suggested by @pfalkingham1 in [this post](https://pfalkingham.wordpress.com/2017/05/26/-testing-11-visualsfm-openmvs/), and took 153 pictures with a Canon Eos 1100d (12Mpx) around the model which "laid" on an articulated lamp in order to correct mistakes from my first scan and get the bottom-facing geometry correctly. After cleaning in blender, I remeshed and baked the resulting model to a lighter version, processed with [mmgs](https://www.mmgtools.org/). Source: Objaverse 1.0 / Sketchfab
Matchbox Mercedes Benz Ambulance Toy Car
This Matchbox Mercedes-Benz ambulance toy car was found during a quick salvage operation near the Spartan Village Apartments on MSU's campus. Found within a concrete-lined structure (likely a cistern), the toy was found with an assortment of other child-related artifacts such as a sippy cup and a plastic cap gun. Reminiscent of the Ghostbusters' vehicle, the Ecto-1, this Binz ambulance was manufactured sometime in 1967-1969 based on the design of the wheels [1]. Confoundingly, the old farmhouse that stood near this location was removed in 1958. Based on archival and historic records, MSU did not construct any buildings in its place; so the placement of a toy car from the late 1960s in the foundations of a building removed around a decade prior is something the CAP crew is still investigating. Model generated by Jack A. Biggs using Agisoft Metashape. Citation: https://matchbox.fandom.com/wiki/Mercedes_Benz_Binz_Ambulance Source: Objaverse 1.0 / Sketchfab
Dinky Toys Foden Dump Truck #959 Vintage Toy
Vintage Raw scan of a vintage Dinky Toys Red on Red Foden Dump Truck Already a much better improvement of the previous model as well as a much less blurry texture. I increased the polys to around 25k to allow better detail of the hydraulics the shovel. The only issue I have here is some colour bleed on the top and the edges of the tires though I'm not quite shure how to address that besides some touch ups possibly via a bandaid tool in substance painter. Dinky Toys Bedford Garbage Truck 252 Scan
Dinky made these in the late 50's and features a handle that you can turn to raise and lower the rear as well as sliding panels on the sides. This one isn't the best scan however it provided a great challenge as a solid bit of it was rendered wrong and I experimented in substance with the clone stamp tool, this is most notable on the wheels as they were textured copletely green for some reason. I may need to experiment with a different background however as with all the these scans thus far have been modeled with a large white blob surrounded them that needs quite a bit of clean-up and refining. Vintage Toy Car (Raw Scan)
A tin toy car that's been sitting on my shelf for a while, i'd guess judging by the vehicle depicted it's circa 1950s, there's some kind of clockwork on the inside, but it's stuck, and no longer works. Toy dataset with pairs of molecules differing in total charge

On the inclusion of charge and spin states in Cartesian tensor neural network potentials. (2024)
Guillem Simeon, Antonio Mirarchi, Raul P. Pelaez, Raimondas Galvelis and Gianni De Fabritiis. Two toy datasets, Dataset A and Dataset B, each one comprising five members of five pairs of
unique molecular systems, each of the elements in the pair differing in total charge.

These pairs are indistinguishable to a neural network that does not account for total charge,
as they share identical atomic numbers and geometric configurations.

The datasets include total charges, Gasteiger partial charges computed with RDKit,
and calculated energies and atomic forces for 2000 conformers per molecule using GFN2-xTB.

Therefore, each dataset contains a total of 10k data points.

Conformers were generated by minimizing each molecule, displacing atomic positions with Gaussian
noise with a standard deviation of 0.2Å, and filtering them such that maximum atomic forces are
<100 eV/Å.
Data Format and Availability:
Both datasets are available in HDF5 (Hierarchical Data Format version 5) format,
compatible with Ace dataset (layout version 2.0) in TorchMD-Net
(https://github.com/torchmd/torchmd-net/blob/main/torchmdnet/datasets/ace.py). Tällä puusta valmistetulla lehmällä on leikitty Nuhjalan kartanossa Vehmaalla 1900-luvun alusta lähtien usean sukupolven ajan. Source: Objaverse 1.0 / Sketchfab
Dinky Toys Meccano LTD Lincoln Continental
Created while testing budget friendly techniques for 360 photogrammetry Dinky 170 Lincoln Continental was made during the late 1960s and is made of die-cast metal. It has a hood and a rear trink that opens. Made in England. I'm currently experimenting on a really quick and basic way of doing photogrammetry of all sides of a model through just a single video through a static background. This is one of the first ones to come out of it trying to keep things low poly. In the future I'm going to just simply bake high poly meshes in order to keep a lot of the details lost through this as well as figure out something in regards to metallic sufaces besides fixing things by hand and rebaking the textures as that itself has it's limitations and can get quite blurry if it strays too far from it's keypoints. Really rough start but it's a hreat reference for future things to be posted. Support my projects through a coffee at https://ko-fi.com/jordanf Source: Objaverse 1.0 / Sketchfab
Dinky Toys Superior Criterion Ambulance Scan
Vintage 1960s Dinky Car Toy Ambulance made in England Currrent progress of my budget friendly photogrammetry setup with a single video taken from a phone and an instagram light to remove most shadows. The glass is a little funky and I touched up the metallic and roughness on certain parts to add a little texture to the model otherwise I'd recommend just sticking with the color. Also scaled and adjusted the model to about 5" which is real-world size. Support my work through a mocha at https://ko-fi.com/jordanf Source: Objaverse 1.0 / Sketchfab
