A.H. 766 [=1394 CE]) on the<em> Shams&icirc;yah </em>[ed note: i.e. <a href="https://www.fihrist.org.uk/catalog/work_20260"><em>al-Shamsīyah fī al-Qawāʾid al-Manṭiqīyah</em></a> of <a href="https://id.loc.gov/authorities/names/nr93027510.html">ʻAlī ibn ʻUmar al-Qazwīnī</a> (d. 1276-77 CE]</p> <p>This is a commentary by قال and اقول . It is entitled تحرير القواعد المنطقية في شرح الرسالة الشمسية , but is often simply called قطبي . The author dedicated it to Am&icirc;r Aḥmad Sharaf al-din.<sup>2</sup> Cf. Cat. (Lakhnau?).</p> <p>A valuable copy, dated 28th Rajab, 777 [= 31 December 1375 CE]. It was transcribed by Muḥammad b. Aḥmad Muḥyi al-d&icirc;n, in the Madrasah of Am&icirc;r M&ucirc;sa at L&acirc;randah (لارنده) [ed. note = modern <a href="https://www.wikidata.org/wiki/Q262579">Karaman</a>], the capital of Ḳaram&acirc;n. Marginal notes.</p> <p>The first few leaves are wanting.
