Data from: A randomized controlled safety and feasibility trial of floatation-REST in anxious and depressed individuals
<div> <div> <div> <div> <p>Background: Reduced Environmental Stimulation Therapy via floatation (floatation- REST) is a behavioral intervention designed to attenuate exteroceptive sensory input to the nervous system. Prior studies in anxious and depressed individuals demonstrated that single sessions of floatation-REST are safe, well-tolerated, and associated with an acute anxiolytic and antidepressant effect that persists for over 48 hours. However, the feasibility of using floatation-REST as a repeated intervention in anxious and depressed populations has not been well-investigated.</p> <p>Methods: In this single-blind safety and feasibility trial, 75 individuals with anxiety and depression were randomized to complete six sessions of floatation-REST in different formats: pool-REST (weekly 1-hour float sessions), pool-REST preferred (float sessions with flexibility of duration and frequency), or an active comparator (chair- REST; weekly 1-hour sessions in a Zero Gravity chair). Feasibility (primary outcome) was assessed via an 80% rate of adherence to the assigned intervention; tolerability via study dropout and duration/frequency of REST utilization; and safety via incidence of adverse events and ratings about the effects of REST.</p> <p>Results: Of 1,715 individuals initially screened, 75 participants were ultimately randomized. Six-session adherence was 85% for pool-REST (mean, M=5.1 sessions; standard deviation, SD=1.8), 89% for pool-REST preferred (M=5.3 sessions; SD=1.6), and 74% for chair-REST (M=4.4 sessions; SD=2.5). Dropout rates at the end of the intervention did not differ significantly between the treatment conditions. Mean session durations were 53.0 minutes (SD=12.3) for pool-REST, 75.4 minutes (SD=29.4) for pool-REST preferred, and 58.4 minutes (SD=4.3) for chair-REST. There were no serious adverse events associated with any intervention. Positive experiences were endorsed more commonly than negative ones and were also rated at higher levels of intensity.</p> <p>Conclusions: Six sessions of floatation-REST appear feasible, well-tolerated, and safe in anxious and depressed individuals. Floatation-REST induces positively-valenced experiences with few negative effects. Larger randomized controlled trials evaluating markers of clinical efficacy are warranted.</p> <p>Clinical Trial Registration Identifier: NCT03899090</p> </div> </div> </div> </div>
Data from: The neural basis of resting-state fMRI functional connectivity in fronto-limbic circuits revealed by chemogenetic manipulation
<p>Included are raw neuroimaging and preprocessed neural recording data from "The neural basis of resting-state fMRI functional connectivity in fronto-limbic circuits revealed by chemogenetic manipulation" (see Related Works section; citation will be updated after publication). Please cite this paper if you use any of these data. Refer to the linked github repository for associated code.</p> <p>Neuroimaging data is organized in BIDS format and saved as NIfTI files. We used MION (monocrystalline iron oxide nanoparticle) as a contrast agent. Functional resting state files can be found in the 'func' folder for each imaging session. The final six runs are resting state data (the first two/three are short EPI sequences used to test that MION is present in the brain; all resting state data used in our analyses consist of 300 volumes). The first three of these six runs consist of baseline data with no drug treatment. Four through six are resting state data recorded after I.M. injection of vehicle (2% DMSO in saline), dechloroclozapine (DCZ) or clozapine-N-oxide (CNO). </p> <p>Neural recording data is separated into LFP data, organized by folder, and putative single units, organized the 'Sorted neurons' folder. LFP data folders are named by subject's intial and date of recording. Single units are labeled according to this same system. All data are stored in .mat format and can be opened in MATLAB. KB2.mat files store timing information: the first event in the KBD2 file indicates the start of baseline, pre-injection data acquisition, and the second event indicates the start of post-injection treatment data. The KB3.mat files contains the timing information of the drug injection. As with the fMRI data, we treated animals with I.M. injection of vehicle, DCZ, or CNO. </p> <p>Treatment information for both modalities is as follows. Les profils commencent de l’extrémité occlusale jusqu’au collet pour les humains et les cochons, ils sont inversés (du collet à l’extrémité occlusale) pour les herbivores (cf. Annexe N2). Il a été démontré par la suite que les valeurs dans l’os et les valeurs <sup>87</sup>Sr/<sup>86</sup>Sr ne doivent pas être interprétées directement en termes biogéniques.</p> <p><strong>Annexe N10_Correl</strong> (dossier) : Graphiques et matrices de corrélation entre les rapports Sr/Ca et Ba/Ca biogéniques et les rapports Mn/Ca, U/Ca et Mg/Ca diagénétiques pour les profils totaux (TOT) et nettoyés (Nett), dans l’émail (enamel) et dans l’os (bone). <p>Depuis 2015, le SCD de l’Université de Guyane est engagé dans un renouvellement de sa pédagogie : des séquences de jeux sont régulièrement introduites dans ses formations à la méthodologie documentaire afin de favoriser l’interactivité et le plaisir de l’apprentissage. Après avoir créé précédemment huit jeux de plateau, BU présente « Reste en veille ! l », un nouveau jeu pédagogique réalisé suite à l’appel à projets lancé par l’URFIST en 2019 dont elle a été lauréate..</p> <p>Ce jeu, créé plutôt à destination des Masters et Doctorat, est utilisé afin de transmettre des compétences et des connaissances difficiles ou plutôt rébarbatives sur un mode ludique et imagé. Il a pour objectif d’apprendre aux étudiants à mettre en place une stratégie de veille documentaire en utilisant les bons outils dédiés.</p> <p>Tous les fichiers de ce jeu sont librement disponibles et téléchargeables sous licence Creative Commons BY NC SA sur le site d’archivage pérenne en trois formats : JPEG, PDF et InDesign. Resting metabolic rate of Sceloporus grammicus at intermediate and native elevations
<p><span>Body maintenance energy requirements are measured as minimal metabolic rate (RMR) of inactive, postabsorptive individuals in the laboratory. For mountain-dwelling species, translocation to the laboratory can mean a change in elevation and thus oxygen pressure, which may affect metabolic rates. Here we present resting metabolic rate (RMR) of three populations of the Mesquite lizard (Sceloporus grammicus) at their native elevations (i.e., 2600, 3200 and 4100 m) and at an intermediate elevation (3100 m). Each lizard was tested at 15, 25, 30 and 35ºC. For each test RMR is given in VCO2 ml/min. Data also includes sex, snout vent length (SVL), body mass, and throat color morph.</span></p>

PHIME Pilot resting state fMRI study
<p>Resting state functional Magnetic Resonance Imaging (fMRI) data for 14 adolescents (12-18 years) that were part of a pilot neuroimaging study on manganese exposure and brain development in Northern Italy. Participants are part of the Public Health Impact of Manganese Exposure (PHIME) study.</p> <p>Data include a 10-minute resting state fMRI scan (repetition time: 2500 ms) and an anatomical scan (3D MPRAGE) for each subject.</p>

Coordinates activities of retrosplenial ensembles during resting-state encode spatial landmarks. Part 1 of 2
<p>The brain likely uses off-line periods to consolidate recent memories. One hypothesis holds that the hippocampal output provides a unique, global linking or 'index' code for each memory, and that this code is stored in the cortex in association with locally encoded attributes of each memory. Activation of the index code is hypothesized to evoke coordinated memory trace reactivation thus facilitating consolidation. Retrosplenial cortex (RSC) is a major recipient of hippocampal outflow and we have described populations of neurons there with sparse and orthogonal coding characteristics that resemble hippocampal 'place' cells, and whose expression depends on an intact hippocampus. Using two-photon Ca<sup>2+</sup> imaging, we recorded ensembles of neurons in the RSC during periods of immobility before and after active running on a familiar linear treadmill track. Synchronous bursting of distinct groups of neurons occurred during rest both prior to and after running. In the second rest epoch, these patterns were associated with the locations of tactile landmarks and reward. Complementing established views on the functions of the RSC, our findings indicate that the structure is involved with processing landmark information during rest.</p>
Which RESTful API Design Rules are Important and How Do They Improve Software Quality? A Delphi Study with Industry Experts
<p>The dataset of a Delphi study with 8 industry experts who reached consensus on the perceived importance and positive software quality impact of 82 RESTful API design rules from the catalogue by Mark Massé ("REST API Design Rulebook", O’Reilly Media, 2011). The replication package contains:</p> <ul> <li><strong>rules.csv:</strong> the final consensus results for the 82 rules in CSV format</li> <li><strong>rule-importance.xlsx</strong>: the detailed results and analysis for rule importance as an Excel spreadsheet</li> <li><strong>rule-sw-quality-impact.xlsx</strong>: the detailed results and analysis for rule impact on software quality as an Excel spreadsheet</li> </ul> <p>In this version, we updated the final numbers for the software quality mapping with the results from the synchronous meeting.</p>

Multi-echo resting-state fMRI networks of healthy volunteers
