Flint Hand Axe
A flint hand axe, made by experiential archaeologist Karl Lee at our recent 'Stone age arts and crafts' family event. Karl spent the morning with our young archaeologists club (SPARCS) getting them to try their hand at this ancient skill. In the afternoon he gave demonstrations to visiting families at our stone age arts and crafts event. This hand axe would have been used for the butchery of large animals. Archaeology shows them to have been used and reshaped many times and they are hardly ever found where they were manufactured i.e. they were a much valued and used item. Karl also made some beautiful flint arrow heads of the type found in the Bronze Age and left us with the thought that ancient people were no less intelligent than us, they just knew how to do things most of us will never learn. Check out Karl's website at https://www.primitive-technology.co.uk/karl-lee/. Source: Objaverse 1.0 / Sketchfab

Part of Burroughs calculator hand crank
If the hand crank of your Burroughs Calculator is missing, you can't get the adding machine to operate. By metal printing (aluminium) this part that easily fits a wrench (M13), you can build yourself an alternative crank. This part was reverse engineered with the help of Burroughs expert Wim Hasselo during the Flemish heritage project "Duiken in de Machine". The casestudy was originally submitted by Steven Lots (collector). Source: Objaverse 1.0 / Sketchfab

Italian Hand Culverine and servants
[Medieval 2 Total War - Machiavello mod](http://www.twcenter.net/forums/showthread.php?782418-Machiavello-TW-(mid-XV-Century-Italy)) | Model for an Italian Hand Culverine with two piece servants. A [hand culverine](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Culverin) is a XV century artillery piece made of a short smoothbore tube, usually of iron, held in place by on a wooden piece with brass bands. Portable culverins weighted around 40 kg (88 lb) in weight, and were mounted on a swivel to adjust for elevation and direction or fixed on walls in defensive stance. The term "culverin" is derived from the Latin *colubrinus*, or "snake-like", in reference of the erratic path of the projectiles. The model is mainly a combination of work made by the mod team and some OSP pack developed for Mount & Blade Warband. Source: Objaverse 1.0 / Sketchfab
Greek, hand-vase clasping a lekythos
Culture: [Greek](http://vocab.getty.edu/page/aat/300020072) Material: Ceramic Dims: H 9.5cm Accession No: HCM 233 Current Location: [The Hunt Museum](https://www.huntmuseum.com/) [Limerick](https://www.geonames.org/7778675/limerick-city.html) This fourth or fifth-century vase originates in a group known as 'plastic vases', including human figures, body parts, animals and birds. A hand clasps a lekythos, the mouth, neck and part of the body are visible. The whiteness and daintiness of the worn hand indicate a woman. The thumb is over the first two fingers and there is a gap between the small and third fingers. The hand vase rests on an oval base. This personal object was for use by a woman or in a her grave. It possibly contained perfumed oil. Many like this come from eastern Greece, particularly Rhodes, but also Corinth, Athens and the south Italian Greek colonies. [More](https://tinyurl.com/yck9umtx). Iron Hand - Prosthetic Arm
Right hand and forearm of dark [tempered steel](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tempering_(metallurgy)) c. 1575-1625. According to legend the arm of Royal Secretary Olof Sverkersson Elfkarl, in office during the reign of Swedish kings [Johan III](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_III_of_Sweden), [Sigismund](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sigismund_III_Vasa) and [Karl IX](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Charles_IX_of_Sweden). Olof Sverkersson was called Olof Turncoat in many parts of the country and in [Finland](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Finland) (which was a part of [Sweden](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sweden) at that time) they called him Olof Perkelson, i.e. Olof Son of the Devil. The arm was included in the [Skokloster](https://goo.gl/Mspd5w) collection in the 1750's when a substantial amount of objects were transferred from Salsta manor, previously owned by the [Bielke](https://goo.gl/F78x9L) family, to Skokloster. The arm had been in the Bielke armoury "since time immemorial". Source: Objaverse 1.0 / Sketchfab
Spiro Hand and Eye gorget, c. 1200-1350 CE
Spiro Mississippian Hand and Eye gorget, c. 1200-1350 CE, now in the collection of the Minneapolis Institute of Art. From [artsmia.org](artsmia.org) (the description refers to two gorgets in Mia's collection): "...The Hand and Eye motif signifies the constellation that marks the entrance to the Path of Souls in the sky, the Milky Way. Each (gorget) has significant supernatural power, power that was extended to the individual wearing their symbol. Whether they indicated rank, membership in a special society, warrior status or something else is unknown, but the context in which they have been found, the expensive material and the high quality of the carvings confirm their role as prestige objects." Two Handed Sword (Low Poly)
Modeled on 3ds Max, details done on Zbrush and textured on Substance. It's an old model, but I kinda liked it... I just went back the route and did a quick detail of it on Zbrush and later texturized it on Substance. Originally it was texturized on photoshop, but I never kinda liked the original textures I made for it back in the day. 4K textures. Source: Objaverse 1.0 / Sketchfab
