<p>At the level of each component element there are ten principal/main dimensions:<br> objective, biological, psycho-social, esthetic, religious, technological, economical, historical,<br> cultural - political, juridical. The analysis of all the aspects presented above offers a holistic<br> view on the concept of private life, a view that allows a complete representation of all the<br> components. We plot the dynamic structure of the components of privacy by means of two<br> axes, in which the vertical scale is characteristic and essential elements horizontally (Figure<br> 1).</p>

<p>There are also major differences between schooling levels (Figure 3). In the<br> gymnasium educational system (12) and high school educational system (15) there are more<br> themes concerned with the technological dimension at the level of school curricula, as<br> compared to the primary educational system (2). Also, in alternative textbooks, these themes<br> are predominant in the high school educational system (56) and the gymnasium educational<br> system (27), as compared to the primary educational system (1).</p>

Emerging Technologies in Arts and Humanities Education: A Systematic Review
<p>This research aims to identify and analyze emerging technologies applied in the field of Arts and Humanities. Through a systematic literature review based on the PRISMA protocol, 158 studies were analyzed using search strings in 2 scientific databases, contributing to addressing the research questions posed. The results indicate that, in arts and humanities, emerging technologies such as virtual reality, the Internet of Things, and mobile learning are transforming creativity, teaching, and management. Identified benefits include interactive, collaborative, and innovative learning, as well as increased accessibility to education. However, challenges such as lack of digital skills among teachers, deficiencies in infrastructure, and resistance to change highlight the need for training programs and overcoming obstacles for effective implementation of these technologies in arts and humanities education. The study presents key tools of emerging technologies that simplify the search, organization, and dissemination of information, as well as enabling the creation of multi-media teaching materials. The relevance of personalized teaching to suit different disciplines is emphasized, highlighting the need to strategically integrate emerging technologies into the educa-tional process.</p>
Is there a social life in Open Data? Open datasets exploring practices in Educational Technology Research
<p>In the landscape of Open Science, Open Data [OD] plays a crucial role as data are one of the most basic components of research despite their diverse formats across scientific disciplines. Opening up data is a recent concern for policy makers and researchers as the basis for good open science practices. The common factor underlying these new practices – the relevance of promoting open data circulation and reuse – is mostly a social form of knowledge sharing and construction. However, while data sharing is being strongly promoted by policy making and is becoming a frequent practice in some disciplinary fields, open data sharing is much less developed in social sciences and in educational research.</p> <p>The Open Data hereby introduced is composed of two integrated datasets which collect data relating practices of Open Data publication and sharing in the field of Educational Thecnologies. This data was collected to suport the aim of investigating open data sharing in a selection of open data repositories as well as in the academic social network site ResearchGate.</p> <p>The research questions addressing this study are:</p> <ol> <li>Do researchers in the field of Educational Technology publish Open Datasets [ODs]?</li> <li>To which extent are ODs compliant with the FAIR data principles?</li> <li>What is the social life relating to the ODs in terms of the metrics provided by the OD portals? As a subsidiary question: 3.a- To what extent do open data portals allow researchers to cultivate social practices around OD?</li> </ol> <p> </p> <p>In order to investigate OD presence in ResearchGate, the following research aim guided the second part of the study: Analysis of the presence of the same selected OD in ResearchGate and of the type of social activity OD exhibited by OD according to ResearchGate mètrics.</p> <p>The Open Data here presented is composed by two datasets.</p> <ol> <li>23 datasets extracted out from 82 randomly selected datasets, from an inital total of 633. The data set presents a Codebook explaining the several categories of analysis or variables and the values assigned to the same. Since the analysis was performed in two phases (first selection and screening, second selection and classification) the codebook is divided in two tables. Moreover, the data set contains 6 Worksheets, ordered taking the workflow as reference: Codebook, Dataset_Extraction, Analysis_Workflow, Selected_Analysis. This dataset has been produced and curated by J.E.Raffaghelli</li> <li>The analysis of correspondance for the 23 datasets in ResearchGate. Development, Training, Education, and Implementation of Low-Cost Sensing Technologies for Bridge Structural Health Monitoring (SHM)
<p>Corresponding data set for Tran-SET Project No. 17STUNM02. Abstract of the final report is stated below for reference:</p> <p>"Transportation infrastructure needs continuous monitoring. However, traditional inspections cost money and are conducted visually. New technologies for bridge monitoring are expensive and complex. This project involved developing cost-effective sensor technologies that can be applied towards the maintenance of railroad bridges by recording reference-free transverse displacement. More specifically, this project developed new applications of new technologies (Arduino, wireless smart sensors, drones, Hololens) and promoted workforce development with an emphasis on outreach of high-school students. This project was carried out in three main phases: (1) development and validation of technologies, (2) education and outreach to students, and (3) outreach to industry consisting in one professional workshop. The findings from the first phase showed that the data gathered by these new low-cost sensing systems were comparable to the data collected using traditional sensors. Researchers collected the findings of the second phase of the project through surveys conducted from Middle school, High school and college students during and after outreach activities. these surveys showed that many of the participant students got more interested in the use of new technologies after getting familiar with them. Finally, researchers collected the findings of the third phase of the project through a workshop collecting the interest and challenges of the owners of railroad infrastructure. The top interest of railroad owners is to explore the use of new technologies to increase safety in the field. The conclusions of this research include prioritization on developing low-cost technologies that can measure simple parameters in the field of interest to existing inspectors."</p>

Material Suplementar - Is secure software development education necessary in the software industry? Answers from professionals of a technology hub in Brazil
<p><span>Context: The education and training of information security professionals is essential to ensure the protection of data and systems, as well as the privacy and security of sensitive information. Problem: This work aims to explore the context of a local technology hub to answer the following research question: Is secure software development education necessary in the software industry? Solution: To answer this question, an exploratory study was performed to understand the need for secure software development education from the point of view of software practitioners in a technology hub. Method: A questionnaire was prepared and sent to professionals of a Brazilian technology hub. Answers were analyzed by using qualitative research methods. Results: We obtained thirty eight answers. According to the results obtained, the majority of participants consider information security education important for the development of secure software. However, there is still a lack of information security education. Contributions: It is concluded that companies should invest more in adequate and comprehensive training on the topic, in addition to encouraging and rewarding professionals who prioritize software security in their projects. It is essential to disseminate a culture of information security throughout the organization, from senior management to development professionals, to make everyone aware of the importance of information security and their responsibility in maintaining it. Finally, it should be noted that developers have a crucial role in ensuring software security, being responsible for seeking knowledge and improving their skills in secure development through training, reading and practice</span><span>.
