He collected his d&icirc;w&acirc;n in A.H. 1093 (A.D. 1682); comp. Bodleian Cat., Nos. 1145 and 1146; Khul&acirc;ṣat-alafk&acirc;r, No. 151 (ib., col. 307); Rieu ii. p. 698; W. Pertsch, Berlin Cat., p. 934; A. Sprenger, Catal., p. 568; Krafft, p. 69, etc. The statement of the Muntakhab-alash</span><span><span>&rsquo;</span></span><span>&acirc;r, No. 330 (col. 246 in the Bodleian Cat.) that he was a native of Iṣfah&acirc;n, went to India and was killed by a young Hind&ucirc;, is obviously wrong. Equally wrong are the data of his life both in G. Fl&uuml;gel i. pp. 588 and 589, where he is, on the authority of Ḥ</span><span>. Khalfa vi. p. 575, No. 14708, represented as a contemporary of Sh&acirc;h Isma</span><span><span>&rsquo;&icirc;</span></span><span>l II, and in the Ham&icirc;sha Bah&acirc;r (A. Sprenger, Catal., p. 124), where he is said to have been probably alive as late as A.H. 1136 (A.D. 1720, 1721).
