Survey data on financial literacy, financial inclusion, informal financial business practices, and intentions towards formalization of female small vendors in Lima, Peru
<p><span>This dataset encapsulates a comprehensive survey aimed at understanding informal business practices and financial literacy among small business vendors in Peru. The dataset comprises three key components: the survey questionnaire, raw survey data, and a detailed codebook. Researchers interested in the dynamics of financial practices in emerging markets may find this dataset particularly valuable, as it allows for the exploration of factors influencing financial decisions in small enterprises, with potential modifications suggested for adapting the survey to different national or cultural contexts. This dataset not only contributes to empirical research in financial behavior but also supports gender-specific studies by allowing the variable 'sex' to be adapted to 'gender' with multiple response options. </span></p> <p><span>The data and supplementary material is divided in tree files:</span></p> <p><span>The survey, presented in "Survey IFE.docx," includes questions across various domains such as informal business practices, financial literacy, financial inclusion, intentions towards financial formalization, and the formality of business ventures, along with demographic variables like age, sex, business age, and number of employees. </span></p> <p><span>The raw data, stored in "Dataset.csv," records responses from 118 participants, mapped against 31 indicators. </span></p> <p><span>The "Codebook.doc" provides exhaustive details about the survey variables, coding of responses, and the methodology employed, facilitating the replication of the study and application of the dataset in varied research contexts.</span></p>
A dataset of physicochemical water parameters from Lima and Douro estuaries (Northwest Portugal)
<p>This dataset provides physicochemical water data collected during five sampling campaigns at two temperate North Atlantic estuaries, the Lima and Douro, in northern Portugal, between 2021 and 2022. The dataset is described in the <em>Data in Brief </em>article “Physicochemical dataset from Lima and Douro estuaries (Northwest Portugal)”. It includes: a) in-situ vertical profiles of water parameters (temperature, salinity, pH, turbidity, dissolved oxygen), acquired with a multiparameter probe along the water column, from the surface to the bottom, at 8 stations in the Lima estuary (during ebb and flood tides) and 11 stations in the Douro estuary (during flood tide); and b) chemical analyses of nutrients, chlorophyll <em>a</em>, total particulate matter, particulate organic matter, and metal concentrations from 5 representative stations in each estuary. Additional dissolved metal data are provided for the Lima estuary.</p>

La información por recuperar contendrá, ubicación, precios y número de habitaciones como variables principales. Self-medication for anxiety symptoms in the context of COVID-19, in users who go to a drugstore in Los Olivos, Lima-2021
<p><strong>Background:</strong> To determine the relationship between self-medication and anxiety symptoms in the context of COVID-19, in users who go to a drugstore in Los Olivos, Lima 2021.</p> <p><strong>Methods:</strong> The research method was deductive, basic and with a quantitative approach; the design used was non-experimental, descriptive, correlational, cross-sectional, and prospective. Spearman's Rho analysis was performed to validate the hypothesis.</p> <p><strong>Results:</strong> 384 users were evaluated, finding 93.5% aged 18-59 years, of whom 53.4% were female, 42.7% had completed high school, 57.8% were single and 51.6% presented physical symptoms, preferably muscular tension accompanied by pain, 60.7% presented behavioral symptoms, highlighting unusual sadness in the face of COVID-19 and 70.1% presented cognitive symptoms with greater frequency of concern about contracting COVID-19. In addition, the greater the symptoms of anxiety, the higher the self-medication increased from 9.0% to 21.1%, a similar case was evidenced in self-medication on their own initiative where the increase was from 7.5% to 33.3%; likewise, self-medication without medical prescription increased from 15.8% to 47.7%, the consumption of anxiolytics or antidepressants increased from 0.8% to 26.3% caused by the symptoms of anxiety.</p> <p><strong>Conclusion:</strong> It was determined that there is a moderate relationship between self-medication and anxiety symptoms in the context of COVID-19, in users who go to a drugstore in Los Olivos, Lima 2021.</p> <p><strong>Keywords:</strong> Self-medication, prescription, anxiety, depression, COVID-19.</p> <p><strong>Background:</strong> To determine the relationship between self-medication and anxiety symptoms in the context of COVID-19, in users who go to a drugstore in Los Olivos, Lima 2021.</p> <p><strong>Methods:</strong> The research method was deductive, basic and with a quantitative approach; the design used was non-experimental, descriptive, correlational, cross-sectional, and prospective.
