Jabal Maqla, Arabian al-Lawz Range — Mt. Sinai?
Jabal Maqla in the al-Lawz Mountain Range, Saudi Arabia. Many have proposed this or nearby Jabal al-lawz to be the true location of Mount Sinai as described in the Bible's book of Exodus. There are a number of locations surrounding it which have also been tenatively identified with the location, including a possible golden calf altar, cave of Elijah, Altar of Moses, and 12 pillars representing the 12 tribes of Israel. Jabal al-Lawz / Maqla - Mount Sinai in Arabia
Jabal Maqla in the al-Lawz moutnain range in Saudi Arabia's northwest Tabuk region has been proposed by historians and explorers as a possibl sight for the real Mount Sinai in Arabia for some time. A Sinai in Arabia has been promoted by biblical archaeologists and scholars for well-over a century now. Depsite popular claims and promotion by explorers and amateur archaeologists—most notably Ron Wyatt—no proper archaeological dig nor scientific survey has taken place in this area. Still the location and its initial finds make is a top contender for the actual location of Mount Sinai and Mount Horeb as described in the Book of Exodus with Moses and the 10 Commandments, and 1 Kings 19 with the prophet Elijah, who sheltered in a cave on the mountain. -Nate Loper Source: Objaverse 1.0 / Sketchfab

Mount Sinai in Arabia - Jabal Maqla al-Lawz
Some historians and researchers place the real Mount Sinai in Arabia instead of the traditional site in the Sinai Peninsula. This mountain in Arabia is mistakenly often called Jabal al-Lawz (Mountain of Almonds), but the mountain typically identified is actually Jabal Maqla, which is in the al-Lawz range in the Tabuk region of modern Saudi Arabia. A Sinai in Northwest Arabia has long been proposed by biblical historians, archaeologists, and Egyptologists for well over a century. The annotations provided here show what are believed to be key places identified by researchers and amateur archaeologists. Dispite scholarly research and documentary work in pictures, film, and GIS collection, no detailed archaeological excavation has taken place in this location—due greatly in part to the political situations in that region.
