<p>This dataset contains guidelines and a gold standard for the alignment of Ancient Greek texts with Portuguese translations.</p> <p>The Corpus and Annotation Style Guide are aligned and adapted from the Ancient Greek to English Guidelines (Chiara Palladino, & Farnoosh Shamsian. (2022). Translation Alignment: Ancient Greek to English. Annotation Style Guide and Gold Standard. (1.0) [Data set]. <p>Alice Santiago Faria, investigadora integrada do CHAM – Centro de Humanidades, conversa sobre obras públicas do império português no século XIX, falando sobre a relevância destes edifícios e infraestruturas ainda hoje nos diversos territórios. Qual a importância da formação de engenheiros luso-descendentes em Goa na sua autonomização? De que forma actuaram as Direcções das Obras Públicas locais e qual o seu impacto? Que edifícios e obras se destacam? Alice Santiago Faria responde a estas e a outras perguntas.<br> <br> Investigadora auxiliar no CHAM – Centro de Humanidades, com o projecto individual de seu título «Cerca de 1892: Departamentos de Obras Públicas e a construção diária do império Português» – com o apoio FCT, Alice Santiago Faria coordena, juntamente com Renata Araújo, o projeto de investigação «TechNetEMPIRE – Technoscientific Networks in the construction of the built environment in the Portuguese Empire (1647-1871)» (financiado pela FCT). Licenciada em Arquitectura pela Universidade de Coimbra e doutorada em História de Arte pela Université de Paris I, o seu trabalho cruza a abordagem histórica da arquitectura com a história da ciência e tecnologia, utilizando métodos digitais de investigação no campo das humanidades.</p> <p>A entrevista é conduzida por Lisa Moura.</p>
