The right pedipalp was held to the side to expose the right chelicera. 7-9, Here the fan was completely expanded as the opisthosoma was flattened. Compare this to the width of the partly retracted fan (5-6). Note the light-coloured setae of tarsi I and II, and their distinctive proximal "cuffs."
