Soil net nitrogen transformation rates for Saddle Catchment, 2017

In Spring/Summer 2017, Youchao Chen conducted three in-field soil core incubations (24-30 days each) to determine soil net N mineralization and net nitrification rates. He determined net N rates across 6 plant community types within the Niwot Ridge LTER Saddle Catchment: dry meadow, moist meadow, wet meadow, shrub, krummholz, and subalpine forest. These data are reported with soil moisture and bulk density.
