About the role

If selected you will provide support to the biotechnology compliance program, which may include performing inspections, analyzing information from inspections, and evaluating and enforcing compliance with federal regulations for Biotechnology Regulatory Services (BRS). One (1) position to be filled within the advertised counties of Nebraska, Missouri, Kansas, Iowa. The incumbent must reside within an advertised county.

Responsibilities

  • The duties described are for the full-performance level. At developmental grade levels, assignments will be of more limited scope, performed with less independence and limited complexity. The duties may include, but are not limited to:
  • Participates in the development, implementation, evaluation, and continuous improvement of the BRS compliance program activities to ensure efficient and effective program operations.
  • Perform inspections, review and analyze pertinent data and documents, and make determinations regarding compliance incidents.
  • Data analysis, compiling data from applications, inspections, and reports submitted by regulated organizations.
  • Maintains assignment records, monitors the status of work, and ensures completion of tasks within established time-frames.
  • Work may involve driving long distances, and/or travel to remote locations.
