About the role

This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Domestic Defense Industrial Base Facilities and the Major Range and Test Facilities Base to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. About the Position: Serve as a Chemist providing technical services planning, developing, sustaining, and monitoring various processes and procedures used to produce and renovate munitions.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze and monitor industrial chemical processes.
  • Utilize computerized instrumentation for monitoring and pilot testing.
  • Perform chemical analyses to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Perform chemist functions utilizing Industrial theories, concepts, principles, and practices.

Education
