Fl&uuml;gel i. pp. 570-572; Cat. des MSS. et Xylographes, p. 379 (No. 439), etc.; see about this collection, Rosen, p. 257.</p> <p>Contents:</p> <p>The usual initial ghazal of the <em>second part</em> of the first d&icirc;w&acirc;n, on fol. 1b:</p> <p>بسم الله الرّحمن الرّحيم &ndash; اعظم اسماء عليم حكيم</p> <p>The second poem corresponds to the usual second one; the third is headed: فى نعت نبى الخ, and begins: اى ذات تو الخ, agreeing with fol. 192a, l. 10, in No. 2628 (1301 in this Cat.); with the sixth bait of this poem the copy breaks off, on fol. 2b, in consequence of a lacuna between ff. 2 and 3; on fol. 3a, l. 2, appears the tarji&rsquo;band : ماء معين چیست الخ , corresponding to fol. 36a, l. 7 ab infra, in No. 2628; the next following poem, on fol. 6a, is a ḳaṣ&icirc;dah, چو پیوند با دوست الخ, agreeing with fol. 23a, l. 11, in the same copy; these poems therefore were afterwards included in the <em>first part</em> of the first d&icirc;w&acirc;n.</p> <p>The usual alphabetical ghazals of the <em>second part</em> begin here, on fol. 7b: يا من بدا جمالك الخ.</p> <p>Another set of tarj&icirc;&rsquo;&acirc;t and mar&acirc;th&icirc; (later included in the first part), on fol. 202a, beginning:صبحدم بادۀ شبانه زدیم الخ ; corresponding to fol. 41a , l. 3 ab infra, in No. 2628; on fol. 209a the usual musammaṭ of the <em>second part</em> : الا اى ماه الخ.</p> <p>Muḳaṭṭa&rsquo;&acirc;t, on fol. 213b; the first is not a proper ḳiṭ&rsquo;ah, but a short ghazal; the second is the initial ḳiṭ&rsquo;ah of the first d&icirc;w&acirc;n : دلا منشين الخ .</p> <p>Rub&acirc;&rsquo;&icirc;s, on fol. 216a, beginning: يا من ملكوت كلّ شئ بيده الخ, corresponding to fol. 321b, l. 4, in No. 2628.</p> <p>On ff. 1a, 220a, and 220b there are written by the same hand some abrupt pieces in prose and verse, probably belonging to J&acirc;m&icirc; also.</p> <p>No. 1624, ff. 220, 2 coll., each ll. 17; Nasta&rsquo;l&icirc;ḳ; size, 8 in. by 4&frac12; in.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p>
