White-Glove Delivery

Choose how eligible lab equipment is handled after the truck arrives: dock delivery, inside threshold, room placement, full unpacking, or premium install assist.

Pick the level of help your receiving team needs.

The checkout picker uses the same tier definitions shown here. Paid tiers are added to the order as delivery service fees; the premium tier is quoted before fulfillment.

Use white-glove when the delivery route matters as much as the product.

Heavy scientific equipment can arrive safely at the building and still fail at the last 200 feet. White-glove tiers define who unloads, who moves the crate, where it is placed, and what packaging is removed.

  • Cryostats, freezers, large behavior systems, racks, and crated instruments
  • Labs without staff or equipment to unload a pallet safely
  • Facilities that require scheduled receiving, freight elevator booking, or COI documents
  • Purchases where room placement, uncrating, or debris removal prevents a service issue later
Laboratory instruments staged on a bench

If the instrument must be placed in a room, unpacked, leveled, or coordinated with facilities, choose a white-glove tier or request a quote.

Have these details ready before fulfillment.

The fastest white-glove orders include receiving contacts and facility constraints early. Premium requests may also need COI details before the delivery appointment is booked.

Building access

  • Loading dock or liftgate need
  • Freight elevator reservation
  • Badge or security desk instructions

Room path

  • Door widths and turns
  • Stairs or elevator count
  • Bench, floor, or final placement location

Receiving paperwork

  • Certificate of insurance needs
  • Certificate holder details
  • Receiving contact and appointment window

White-glove appears only for eligible products.

Checkout keeps parcel shipping, freight handling, and white-glove service separate. If a cart contains an eligible heavy item, the delivery step shows the tier picker and saves the selected tier on the order.

Parcel items still use parcel rates

Smaller products continue to show FedEx choices after the ZIP code is entered.

Freight items stay under review

Oversized products are routed to freight or quote handling instead of being forced into a parcel shipment.

Paid tiers become order fees

Threshold, Room of Choice, and Full White-Glove tiers are added to the order as delivery service fees.

Premium is confirmed by quote

Premium install assist can require COI, appointment, and facility review before fulfillment.
