The HY-1080/HY-1090 Intelligent Agricultural X-Ray Machine is a dedicated seed and plant-material imaging system that uses X-ray transmission to reveal internal structures invisible to the naked eye. It penetrates a wide range of agricultural and forestry samples — including corn, rice, orange stalks, fir wood, pine seeds, chestnuts, and rapeseed — to image internal pest cavities, germ development, fill levels, and overall seed quality without opening or destroying the sample.

The key comparison qualifier for seed X-ray systems is imaging resolution paired with contrast sensitivity. With a resolution of 56 lp/cm, a 7% contrast ratio, and 7 grayscale levels, the HY-1080/HY-1090 renders fine internal detail that supports confident assessment of viability, pest infestation, and developmental stage. Output screen brightness exceeds 7 cd/cm², and the system accommodates samples within a Φ80 mm field of view at a maximum object-to-detector spacing of 300 mm.

Two models are available to match your laboratory setup. The HY-1080 images seed internal structure directly onto a connected computer screen and saves images for record-keeping and further analysis. The HY-1090 extends this with an added image intensifier system and the flexibility to output to either a dedicated display or a computer screen, offering enhanced versatility for higher-throughput or more demanding imaging workflows.
